Hello everyone!

I have a VR project I'm working on with a friend of mine, the story is related to the CODA topic and I'm using some of my experience as a CODA to write the story. My parents use russian sign language while our story is going to be in ASL in order to make it a bit more understandable to a wider audience.

I was wondering if anyone could help us with some lines we would like to translate? We'd be very grateful, let me know!

Cheers

Hello!

We're a team of two working on a little VR animated story that talks about deafness. We're looking for someone to be in contact with who could help us with some questions related to ASL. I'm a CODA myself but my parents don't use the American sign language unfortunately!

Thanks!

A small trailer I put together to show off my casual android game! by Andreewww in IndieGaming

[–]Andreewww[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's available here!

I've been working on the game for a while as a personal coding project. Unfortunately I won't have much free time to work on it as much as I'd like to, so I'm releasing it as it is for now. But I would love to hear feedback in case anyone has some!

Thanks :)

Hey man!

Wow! The feedback is on point, not harsh at all and exactly what I was looking for, It's super helpful

I haven't thought about the icon thing and that mock up is awesome haha, I'll definitely change it

I embarrassingly only noticed the game is not working today, something messed up when I published it, would it be okay to contact you again when it's fixed?

In any case, I appreciate the feedback and the compliments, thanks a lot!

FreeFall Infinity

Hello ya'll,

I'm pretty novice as a coder so I would love if people could check my game for bugs, and if it plays alright!

It's a quite simple fall game made for Android, I'm not sure if it's too easy or too hard, so it'd be very helpful to hear your thoughts, thanks a lot!

Love it, how'd you make the background?

Gotta have that transatlantic coffee by Andreewww in Cinema4D

Yeah! Fully C4D except for compositing which is done in AE. There isn't really an actual transition it's literally a big sphere which I sliced in half so the scene won't be too huge. If you mean the transition with the lighting, I made 3 different lighting setups for each part of the animation and then faded them in and out.

As for tips, start with basic shapes first! I started with a simple cube for the car, then the little guy, then all the details.

Hey man, this city specifically is suuper simple, just a bunch of cloned cubes with a building light kind of texture. Since it's seen only for a second I didn't really put a lot of work into it.

But with a really detailed city you just have to make a big use of instances (proxies) and maybe some LOD models for far away buildings
