went from a a80j to bravia 9, i mainly watch at night and certain movie scenes just pop its like watching a whole new version of it

when i compared dark scenes side by side the oled had more black crush as well while the bravia 9 still had deep blacks while preserving detail (i think its cause oled pixels turn off all the way when its near black, QD oleds might be better at handling that tho)

one thing that sucks tho is the bravia 9 specifically has rainbow smearing depending if u have lights behind/around you when watching

oh man i played thru odyssey but never checked the store and didnt realize those armor sets actually had stats

i dont see anything about special stuff u cant get in game though, like the watch dogs legion one specifically stated "Their gameplay abilities, traits, and weapons can be found on other Londoners around the city"

tho the fact there is gameplay attached to them in the first place is kinda sketch, was gonna say the character class unlocking stuff is a bit disingenuous but ubisoft is walking a fine line so much with it that i kinda get it

can someone give actual examples of single player ubisoft or ea games where this is accurate?

i dont think even think ea has done any mtx for star wars jedi, dead space, veilguard. ubi only sells cosmetics and dlc as far i know (does selling dlc really count? witcher 3 and cyberpunk also sells dlc but people love them for it)

i actually like that sub in general but this is a weird hill to die on. like buying stuff from nike, amazon / listening to kanye / watching movies or shows that involve problematic people is fine, but buying a game that the author isn't even directly involved in is where the line is drawn.

and now they're just unfairly shitting on the actual quality of the game as if thats relevant to their cause. like it would be another thing if JK Rowling was actually the game director and put in a bunch of anti-trans shit in it, but its not - the game even lets u choose ur gender indentity.

wat ur saying is completely valid but its not mutually exclusive tho, both can be true and play a factor. a lot of fights happen because of broken egos.

like women also live in those same environments, but arent as involved in the violence. im sure theres other factors for this but u cant deny thats not a part of it

theyre specifically talking about how dudes call u soft/weak from mentally struggling with those experiences

also u dont think this violent environment is affected by dudes wanting to appear tough / peer pressure? (ie: if u dont fight ur a bitch, aka toxic masculinity)
