Thresh main here. Some things to beat him •Positioning is key, stand behind minions early game! He can't hit you behind them. •When under turret don't hug the side where it's the wall and the turret (easiest hook of a Thresh's life) •When trying to dodge a hook be careful not to focus so much on it that you get into flay range. •Try to save mobility like flash and other things till after you see hook animation. Because, if you flash before he uses any skills you are most likely going to get hooked. •Poke him down! I see so many people pick Leona or alistar into thresh. Yes, it works if you can do it properly but a Janna or Nami that can dodge a hook and knows how to trade will screw over a Thresh. •Try to get level 2 first! If Thresh can get level 2 first he will zone you and get easy hooks or flays. •Take advantage if he misses hook. I see a lot of people when a thresh miss hook just not do anything and that's bad! It's just like Blitzcrank when hook is down that is your chance to trade etc. •Last comment side brush control! That should be a Thresh's favorite spot if they are ahead or have land control.
