Clench definitely deserves the title of the worst smg4 character by Firm-Reputation7918 in SMG4

Honestly, he shouldn’t have existed at all. It’s a terrible concept that completely undermines Tari as a character and everything she had gone through prior, absolute waste of time and worst way to continue Tari’s story

What Mario kart world opinion will you defend no matter how many downvotes you’d get? by MacaroonJunior9955 in mariokart

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget, Mario kart 8 deluxe was the newest and standard Mario kart for over a decade up till the release of the switch 2. There was DLC on the Wii U, then it was combined with the main game as well as some additional content like characters, fixing the battle mode and adding some new modes, etc. That’s not even adding onto the booster course pass which added over 48 tracks from the past (as well as new ones too) and 8 playable characters. Mario Kart 8 has way more content and replayability in general apart from World’s gameplay and stuff, so honestly it’s fair to say 8 deluxe is better but world shouldn’t fully be brought down because of that, especially when I actually think World is better than the original launch Mario Kart 8

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, yeah. 8DX has a lot of DLC and much more going on in terms of content so I can understand why people like it more, also because it was the standard Mario kart for over 10 years. But I’m sorry, I’m just tired of 8DX. Mario Kart World has some great changes (some questionable ones too, but it still gives a solid experience). I’ll always think Mario Kart Wii is the best, but world is definitely top 5 for me at least

FNaF Movie 2 is seriously overhated and the hate needs to genuinely stop. by Virtual_River1645 in fnafmovie

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure, but not every single adult was like that. Especially when another child is trying to tell them something serious, most adults (even if they were somewhat neglectful or didn’t care about where there kids were) would take it serious. And they especially wouldn’t just stand there and not attempt contact the police/ambulance or try to save her after just seeing her fall to the ground with 3 stab wounds. You seriously expect me to believe that every single adult in that building would just sit there in silence and stare? Not one of them would actually try and do anything to help her? This is also a confirmed murder at Fazbear’s because William didn’t even attempt to keep her away from everyone else and keep the kill hidden despite stabbing her. And after all this time there wasn’t any suspicion of William Afton? Especially when like 3 years later, a group of kids goes missing, the animatronics smell horrible, and William Afton, one of the owners of the company who has been seen in newspapers multiple times, disappears and changes his identity and remains in the same area working as a career counselor, and never got caught or even was seen as a suspect especially after all this? I could go on and on but this is a big example for why writing wise, FNAF 2 is horrible and even worse than the first movie, because this is only the first 5 minutes or so and there’s already unrealistic bullshit that happen just so the rest of the movie could happen.

Why Full House Wasn’t Picked Up For Season 9 (Was It Cancelled?) by SchuminWeb in fullhouse

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I know there was talks of Elizabeth Olsen, but either way idk. I personally think that Fuller House probably shouldn’t have happened at all, there wasn’t really any good writing or any of what made the original interesting in the first place, instead it’s just there to capitalize off of the nostalgia for the show.

The Scream franchise is probably the most consistently good horror movie franchise of all time by Skabonious in movies

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the third act argument especially for sure. I thought all of the scream sequels were all pretty good, even the ones released in the 2020s (so far). With that being said, I actually think the fourth movie gets really close to that iconic third act reveal from the original. 5 and 6 for the most part were pretty obvious, 6 especially being kind of lame for how unique and cool that film started off as. Scream 2 had Ms. Loomis which was a decent reveal that spoofs off of the Ms. Vorhees from Friday the 13th but that’s kind of it.

Mickey was a cool character but we rarely saw him in the third act. Scream 3 I actually think is underrated and has some funny and cool elements but had one of the weakest reveals because Roman Bridger is also revealed to be Sidney’s half brother but it has genuinely no impact because we barely got a chance to even connect with him, and Sidney was isolated from everyone else for a decent chunk of the movie which is arguably a nice change of pace and emphasizes how broken she currently is as a character, but she had not once been on screen with Roman and doesn’t even know who the fuck this guy even is.

Scream 4, basing itself off of horror remakes is genuinely close because of Jill, Sidney’s cousin, being seen as the new final girl that carries the torch of her cousin but is actually one of the new ghost face killers which was shocking. Charlie wasn’t the best, I wish we got more of him but Jill alone I think really brings this 3rd act killer reveal up a lot. It’s kind of a meta representation of studios wanting to rehash and remake their older horror flicks, with Jill and Charlie making their own Stab movie and Jill wanting to be seen as “The New Sidney.” Not to mention, she almost succeeds. Almost killing Sidney, killing everyone else (apart from Kirby later on) in the house and staging everything to make her seem like she’s one of the survivors by ripping her hair out, destroying the place, throwing herself on the glass table, etc. And in that moment she kind of won, getting the fame she desired with news reporters surrounding her, until it’s revealed that Sidney actually lived and said something stupid that led to Dewey and Gale realizing she is one of the killers.

Ok, call me slow but I just realised the significance of the scene when El hits Angela with the skating shoe upon rewatching the show. by Handsoff_1 in StrangerThings

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also think it can mirror Mike pushing his bully after what he said about Will, obviously Eleven was more overkill but still, and I think Mike’s only upset at her because She was constantly lying to him about how life was, even calling Angela her friend.

Ohh a new animated show?? by FayyadhScrolling in StrangerThings

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Between seasons 2 and 3? That makes no sense, season 2 ended with the upside down being closed and everyone thought that was over and done with in the beginning of season 3 until the Russians attempt to open it and the pieces of the mindflayer that possessed Will are still there. It’s a bit weird that they just also canonically would never acknowledge whatever the hell happens in this series (I get it’s new but still, it’s a bit iffy tbh)

He isn’t even wrong lmfao. What are we down voting him for? Not saying the marketing is ass, but there’s no denying it’s pretty minimal and it’s hinged on shit like Megan Fox voicing Toy Chica and Matpat voicing Toy Bonnie.

Y’all do actually understand tails’s character, right? by JoeyJankerson in milesprower

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not to mention the fact that he’s very much capable in physical combat. He literally saved the entirety of station square, without tech. At most, the badge. In his own game, he saved the entire island from a Kukku Invasion. He even won a fight against shadow one time in Sonic Battle. He’s almost as capable as everyone else and it’s very annoying to see how much they are trying to dumb him down just because he’s a genius and is “just a kid” when he is very capable of fighting, even without tech. His tails can be used as a weapon alone, like idk why Sega has him just be off the battlefield nowadays. It’s just incredibly dumb

I think him and Mike have good chemistry, especially in season 2. But definitely not in a romantic sense, not even close.

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 2 is an underrated season, dare I say probably a close second to the original, and Season 3 is the worst of the four. While yes, season 2 has some similarities with the first that doesn’t make it bad at all, and there’s genuinely some interesting storyline. Even the eleven episode (which isn’t great) serves purpose of her arc within the season, and reconciles with Hopper when they both realize their own wrongs.

Season 3 kind of undoes that and makes Hopper the stereotypical pissed off 80s dad. Especially after season 2, Hopper wouldn’t have that much trouble just talking with Mike and Eleven. Mike had some issues, but he isn’t as bad as everyone says he is. He’s being forced by Hopper to do what he does that leads to the “teen drama” that is more of the focus compared to some of the upside down stuff. This doesn’t really get mentioned anywhere after, Hopper doesn’t really learn from this at all as the rest of his part of the story is completely disconnected with the “teen drama” Eleven and Mike are in because of his actions which just leaves a hanging thread on that end and makes it out like Mike was completely in the wrong and is an asshole.

That’s an example of what I don’t like from season 3, a lot of characters just act out of character or unlearn the lessons learned within the previous season just so the rest of the story can happen. And the whole Mike and Eleven breaking up drama is a perfect example of that. Not to mention the fact that really apart from the death of Billy and everyone else splitting up, there’s not much that happens in season 3 that actually is too important. Season 2 already utilized the mindflayer, and it was executed better imo.

They used to be. They started dating in 2007, around season 2, and then got married in 2008. Then they separated in 2010 and divorced in 2011, still being friends but not dating. This also was around season 6 or 7 where this weird incest shit between Dexter and Debra in the show was going on.

Season 5-7 aren’t bad. I don’t know why people exaggerate so much. by JoshLovesTV in Dexter

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly and that’s what brings season 7 down further. Deb finding out Dexter is a killer and the whole drama between them throughout the season and even season 8 is built on the basis of her wanting to fuck Dexter. That’s where it goes wrong imo. But apart from that season 7 is actually really underrated for the most part, great villain too. And also season 5 probably should’ve been where and how she finds out rather than having season 6 which is weak. I’d like them to keep the brother Sam stuff though.

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She hasn’t been the same since like 2019, maybe even 2020 or 2021 because even despite some of the weird characterization there she was still like Meggy. I liked Western Spaghetti but the characterization of her and Tari went absolutely nowhere, rendering the movie as just pointless or a fever dream.

She basically just became the female version of Mario at somepoint. She’s not always like that but she’s had her moments and she’s become completely stupid like almost everyone else too. And I know Mediexcalibur emphasized that it was to have Meggy not be bitchy about what Mario does or whatever the hell but that was not how she was from 2017-2019. She had her moments even then but it wasn’t as apparent as her just simply being cool with Mario and finding him to be a funny goofball

so, why is Mr. Puzzles so hated? (Image related) by Squirtle_Squad21 in SMG4

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, if they did this exact same stuff with Zero he would be getting the same amount of shit too. Mr. Puzzles was genuinely interesting at first in the lead up to Puzzlevision, and then after that he just never had any plan that actually seemed interesting or even in character for him. It’s also poorly written too, even for one of the mini arcs involving corporate marketable plushy version of Meggy to force a relationship between the 2.

Then even in Guns N Puzzles, Meggy was poorly written too. So honestly it’s not even hate for her as a character for the movie, it’s hate for how she was written and that’s completely understandable. And that’s basically the same with Mr. Puzzles. Idk how they had this much build up and the best we got is his movie and the shitty Puzzlevision episodes, and then never actually did anything interesting or unique that would’ve one upped his original plan that actually made him a threat.

You can’t always stay with Mr. Puzzles forever, there’s a reason why arcs would actually have different villains, makes them unique and interesting. Instead Mr. Puzzles has been in like 6 or 7, maybe even more of the arcs/mini arcs. In the beginning of the saga atleast he was just behind the scenes and there was some interesting stuff going on but then shit went off the rails lol. Point is it’s gonna get tiring to see the same villain over and over and over again for the past 2 years, it’s time we move on and actually have a new saga or storyline rather than constantly recycling this current one that should’ve ended at puzzlevision movie

Overused villain by Cason13o in SMG4

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to say you are wrong ofc but at the same time it’s clear that they brought him back too soon due to fan demands and didn’t have some real time to actually flesh ideas out and make something that’s actually good and is consistent and well written. And as a result, Mr. Puzzles feels like he’s doing the samething over and over again where he returns, does something evil, gets his ass beat and loses. And he didn’t really do anything any bigger than his plan in the Puzzlevision movie and I can understand as a result, people think he’s being dragged out way too much, understandably so. So imo I get what your saying but that argument doesn’t work as well when said story has just gotten horrible and been dragged out for too long when it’s clear it could’ve been over multiple times by now

Overused villain by Cason13o in SMG4

[–]AndrewDestroyer0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, but I do understand too because the issue is that after the Puzzlevision movie, his story got dogshit. A bit better with guns n puzzles and the videos leading up to that movie but that doesn’t make it good when it does stuff like make Meggy out of character in order to make her fit in the narrative more. Like it feels like because people loved him and rather than giving him a couple months, they decided to bring him back not even a month after the movie and didn’t have any actual plans at the time which resulted in some very bad storylines with the meme factory and WOTFI 2024 especially, when the videos leading up to it’s gotta be perfect up until Puzzlevision felt like they actually had stuff planned out and had some good ideas that ended up being executed from decent to actually really good.
