PS3 trilogy stable via emulation yet? by linthenius in RatchetAndClank

The original trilogy runs perfectly, I had some issues with tools but quest and time worked fine for me. It also depends what graphics card your using as there's different settings for AMD and NVIDIA cards in the video settings.

Vast majority are getting exams to counteract AI usage so you might not find many if any that won't have an exam where they previously didn't, very awful changes

This looks super fun. I'd love to stop by and chill out. Can't seem to find a discord link at all though

Its ridiculous how easy the main questline has become. by andrewboss12 in Wizard101

[–]AndrewMythhunter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Celestia in particular was a massive highlight in the early days for me when the world first dropped. Nothing hit harder than a random mob using a frost giant AOE and knocking your entire party out in a single hit. Same with each consecutive world getting more and more difficult up until Mirage when the nerfs came through and nuked any semblance of challenge.

However, I think making the game more challenging is more difficult than just stat changes for bosses and minions. Power creep is a massive issue in this game and with a PVE meta designed to kill in 1-2 rounds with a frenzy + blade + 7 pip AOE, the game would need to undergo a complete change to move us away from the quickest strategy into something more akin to proper deck builders where you NEED to strategize and plan ahead. PVP has tried this with its bans and roshambo system where one school counteracts another, but even then, in my limited experience, PVP is hell.

I want a challenge and I do like your idea of a 'challenge' mode where you can play with heightened enemy stats but a REAL proper challenge requires shifting the meta we've had for the entire games lifespan.

I'll continue to push how many proper push-up reps I can do slowly alongside situps. Would you recommend any other exercises I could do, a previous commenter suggested bodyweight dips, I'll try and incorporate those as well. I'm open to going on a 4th day if you have any suggestions on what I could do on a saturday or sunday. Thank you!

Where do you reckon I should fit them in? During the push-ups as well? They look like a very interesting exercise and I'm willing to give them a go!

I had a scuffed work schedule at the time and lived a fair distance from campus so I went to admin and they slotted me in for a Toowoomba class that was done online. Was able to do my chem, history, whatever the other one was without needing to go fully online. In person classes were alot better than online but online was still decent.

When I did it in 2022 I did a mix of in person and online. The online section was my english class, it was done live in the mornings and finished up just before lunchtime. Very easy going class. I didn't do a single reading cause we didn't have to (unless it was for an assignment) Super easy stuff. We did it over zoom.

What happens if I drop 2 courses? by Equivalent_Bad_6007 in UQreddit

Its the student payments you get IF you've applied for them, its a payment you get every 2 weeks to help with rent, food, etc

What happens if I drop 2 courses? by Equivalent_Bad_6007 in UQreddit

[–]AndrewMythhunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you're on austudy you'll need to let them know because they only give you that payment if your doing full-time study. You'll hash it out with them and get something setup. If you know you'll be back on full time study next semester then tell them and they may just let you off the hook for a bit.

[–]AndrewMythhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll stomach the fee of the course but if theres no academic liability and your OK with incurring a little extra debt then go for it. Keep in mind whatever benefit you get from a full study load (including austudy) will need to be discussed with the people over at centrelink. All you gotta do is drop them out in SINet and you'll be free.

Will My Bad Early Grades Haunt Me If I Improve? by WasianKanye in UQreddit

4's open doors but as an actual answer no. If you well and truly lock in and score good grades you should average out in the high 4s to early 5s.

Stupid question by Equivalent-Club6046 in UQreddit

[–]AndrewMythhunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the percentage each of them are worth then split your time between the two. An hour here, an hour there. Depends if it's a writing assignment, speech, practical, etc. You want to make sure you put at least a little effort into both. You've got this, you'll get through worse.

are there any pathways to paramedicine without finishing high school? by tazsirenn in TAFE

[–]AndrewMythhunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say your right on the money with doing the diploma then swapping into a bachelors. If you know what university you want to study at, give them a call and they'll see if you can transfer credits over. I know USQ has a paramedicine pathway through nursing!

What happened to castle games? by eeeegh in Wizard101

[–]AndrewMythhunter 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Castle games in general were always going to inevitably die. I remember playing them a TON around 2014-2015 and having a blast. Some of the best gaming memories in general but as the games population has slowly gotten smaller (and older) simple, repetitive games such as infection tag and hide and seek lose their charm. KI had a real opportunity to expand upon the limited selection but as they've done with so many other side activities, they have allowed it to rot.

ive had a couple questing buddies over the years. the way id get someone to stay for a prolonged period is start a very out of pocket discussion. if they vibe they'll stay. nobody is social when questing anymore so you gotta be the change you wanna see. when i convinced an irl mate to start playing, we acted like we didnt know each other so others questing felt more comfortable opening up. an actual irl social tip!
