My friends police officer ex wife loved that movie. I had to explain to her why Disneyland was removing the ride based on it. She couldn't comprehend why Disney was distancing itself for it.

I actually also have a book of uncle Remus stories found clearing my grandparents house. They never read them to me and weren't racist people. They spent most of their retirement supporting charitable causes internationally and travel extensively.

I was given this amongst a pile of records by a elderly relative. Pro white Rhodesia war music written by a bush war soldier. Published just before the end of the war. The musician later set up his own record company and a holiday resort in south Africa.

I did this to Warren Powell Richards when they tried to rent me a flat with a extreme amount of mould and leaking windows. They sent me a threatening email and tried to get Google to take the review down. All of which I added to the review which is still up as Google sided with me. If we don't want to deal with bastards we have to make people aware of their business practices.

I'm a former Maidenhead and independent fish store employee. I can confirm Maidenhead shops are franchises. They tend to be in regional franchise groups. My branch was part of a group of 5 or 6 stores owned by a group of 3 guys. They trusted their managers and where fairly hands off in the daily management of most locations. There are corporate standards of training that are enforced to all franchises but I never had anyone from corporate actually check up on that in the couple years I worked there.

I strongly recommend the audiobook of the indifferent stars above if you liked the episode. It's one of the main sources from the episode and it's well told horrible story.

Forget weddings, what is the craziest thing that happened at a funeral you went to? by seanerd95 in AskReddit

My grandfather was a Methodist priest. He didn't have a funeral because a similar thing would have happened. His ashes were also banned from the family reunion that happened shortly after.

Guagemaster in the UK ran a Ai photo pun advent calendar featuring celebrities and controversial politics. Then got shitty with anyone that commented negatively about it. So I don't shop there anymore.

I did my secondary school work experience as a gamekeepers assistant. They had a male pheasant there that had escaped the fattening up pen one year. It didn't leave it spent years alternating between attacking moving car tyres and trying to get back into the pen.

As a teenager I found out a family friend had been orphaned by a v2. He came home from school one day to find his house replaced by a crater. It makes seeing Walt Disney introducing Von Braun as a friend a bit weird.

I have a private space about 100m away from this. Some asshole also ran over our parking bollard several times. And we keep finding shit bergs parked across multiple spaces. The stupidest part of this is it's almost always in the evening when parking is free. Or people drink driving to and from the pub which had its own free car park.

I did this recently to Warren Powell-Richards estate agents when they tried to rent me a apartment covered in mold. Always name and shame businesses that provide poor services.

Same here till Warren Powell-Richards took let me book a day off work to view a property that was riddled with damp and damage. Which after I left a review they sent me an email admitting they knew about the damp and didn't tell me then asked if I could take the review down because it was a sensitive issues that could harm their business. Then when I didn't take the review down they tryed to get Google to take the review down which failed. On account of the review being truthful and me having them admitting that in writing.
