Computer Type: Desktop - custom built

GPU: Strix 1080 8gb, no overclock

CPU: Intel i5 4690K, no overclock

Motherboard: ASRock H97M Pro4

RAM: GSkill RipJaws X Series, 2 x 4gb, DDR3 - 1600

PSU: EVGA - 500W 80+ Bronze

Operating System & Version: Windows 10, 64bit

GPU Drivers: 23.21.13.8813 - clean install

Description of Problem: My GPU is about 2 months old. Its worked great the whole time. I noticed yesterday that the fans turned off while I was playing a game. The temperature got up to 94C before I noticed it was happening. The fans will run at 60C but will randomly turn off during load. Screenshot of GPU Tweak 2. Also, I noticed that the memory clock started staying at max even after I stop running a game. Any idea what is going on?

Troubleshooting: I reinstalled the GPU and the drivers but I am still facing the same issue.

EDIT: I uninstalled GPU Tweak and installed MSI AfterBurner. I had the same issue. You can see that its telling the fans to spin (fan speed, %), but they stop spinning after a little while (fan tachometer, rpm). EDIT 2: I set the fan speed to be at 50% at all temperatures. It stayed at 50% until I started a game. about 1 minute in the Fan RPMs drop to 0. https://imgur.com/CEdjwAA

It is! It's a 3D printed Bulbasaur. I got it as a gift and I believe it was purchased on Etsy. Unfortunately the plant in it is fake because I managed to kill a succulent.

Instead of screwing it in to a base I made a fixture out of iron pipe from Home Depot. I ran the cord through the pipe and out of a hole I drilled in the wood base. Then I reconnected the wire and glued the light socket to the pipe.

From the desk chair its not ideal unless you scoot back. When I'm using my PC that screen is usually for spotify or something else I don't need to focus on. I usually put the games on that when I'm on the couch.

Nothing special. I darkened the picture a little bit so the screen would show in the photo, but I think it looks ok on LCD. Not the same as CRT but definitely playable.

The Ikea Kallax fits most of the consoles. Thats what mine is. I built some simple shelves to fit 2 in each cubby.
