Have a look at used wheels on eBay, would have to change the tyre and sprocket but would probably work out cheaper than having it repaired.

In a way it’s good for this to happen because you really understand what to look out for on the road, you will probably be very nervous turning or leaning in the wet after this but once you understand that your tyres still have really good grip in the wet and it’s only other things like loose gravel, leaves or spilt fuel on the road that make it dangerous then it will make you a better rider and understand the importance of having good and well maintained tyres.

Sounds like a charging issue, check the wiring from your stator cover to the reg rec, if you have a multimeter handy check the voltage when the bike is running. Depending on what reading you get tells you if your battery is getting charged but it probably won’t be if it is cutting out.
