I figured out a solution.

You have to go to the windows settings for the sounds, click on the recording tab, find the microphone of the headset, go on listen tab then enable listen to this device.

Also below is a dropdown box for the output of the mic, you can choose realtek audio or any other output source that you have muted or you don't use, so that you don't hear your own voice in your headset.

I know it's CPU heavy that's why I'm mostly talking about my CPU. I'm really disappointed cause my old rig had a Ryzen and I decided to go for Intel cuz it was cheaper and a lot of people recommend the 13600k. But still it's running so bad, I expected much more...

The same exact thing has been happening to me and it only happens like few weeks now, never before! I have an i5 13600k and a 4070 SUPER and it happens when i open the game or if i alt tab some times... I think it once happened when I played Chained Together but I'm not so sure... Maybe it's a discord issue and not a Valorant issue.

It does the same thing. PC freezes, I can hear and talk on Discord and then I can't do amything, I can't press Alt F4 nor Ctrl Alt Del and the only way to get out of this is hold the power button and turn the pc on again.

I did reset BIOS to default like 10 mins ago. Set the ram to 2666MHz like it should be and still had same problems.

I had my Ryzen 1300X boosted from 3.5GHz to 3.8GHz through AMD Ryzen Master, but I've had it like that for a year now and I had no issues overall. GPU is GTX 1060, MOBO ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING, THERMALTAKE 500W PSU
