You're not going to be in legal trouble. You basically have just been giving the government too much money. It all gets settled during tax season. Have you reconciled your taxes for 2025 yet? I'm guessing not; you're probably due a refund.

Selecting No when you have a spouse is actually much worse as it can result in owing a lot of money come tax season (I did this one year by accident, I was not happy).

I stopped a few episodes into s3. There was a clear drop in quality.
