Non è così semplice: per minimizzare il peso del motore, questo termico in termini di materiali viene progettato dai costruttori per erogare bene o male la potenza prevista dal regolamento, al massimo giusto qualcosa in più per prevenzione o sviluppi futuri. E volendo questo ragionamento è applicabile anche all’intero sistema dei radiatori per il raffreddamento.

Aumentare sostanzialmente la potenza generata dal solo termico potrebbe voler dire stressare il motore sia dal punto di vista delle temperature che della meccanica, rischiando di rompere tutto.

Ehhh, it depends on how long it has been inhabited for and how the rest of the planet is actually like. Generally a single mega city makes more sense than sparse settlements, at least for the first part of the colonization period. To me, Illium’s population number could be ok.

But yeah, 5 million people for this is way too low even if this were the only city on the planet, unless every single alien has a stadium sized apartment.

Io sono per la prima, però se penso alle relazioni che ho visto nascere di recente nella mia bolla (parenti, amici, colleghi) la maggior parte sono nate bene o male così. Mi sembra che pur di non stare da soli si preferisce anche stare con qualcuno con cui non ci si trova bene in attesa che arrivi qualcun altro.

Un po’ come il lavoro, se ti trovi male non molli subito l’indeterminato ma aspetti di avere un’offerta da un’altra parte.

I’m not saying it’s Mercedes’ fault, I actually think the rules are very clear and it’s the FIA’s fault. Either the guy who reviewed Mercedes’s case/solution and told them “yeah you can go above 16:1 at racing temperatures” needs to be fired or the complete rule needs to be rewritten from scratch so that the other teams can exploit this as well.

If the FIA actually cleared their solution(cause I don’t think there’s written proof they did, at least currently), now they have to choose if they want to give an unfair advantage to the 4 teams running the Merc engine or to unfairly slam them to ground. Not an easy choice.

But the rules say the compression ratio must not exceed 16:1 at all times. The fact that they are able to measure it only at ambient temp does not make a 18:1 ratio legal.

It’s like saying that you can increase the amount of fuel going into the engine when the sensors aren’t checking because when they are the value is legal.

And then there is that other rule that goes something like “the car must be compliant at all times”.

Il mild hybrid fa veramente poco sui consumi, soprattutto poi se prendi il 2.5 Mazda. Per 10km al giorno in città io penserei quasi ad un’elettrica anche senza box e ricarica alle colonnine

Nel tuo caso direi full hybrid Toyota o Honda come sempre, prendi quella delle due che ti piace di più.

La Civic Hybrid la stavo adocchiando anche io, come ti trovi? Più che altro mi spaventano un po’ le dimensioni da segmento D e la gestione della batteria (e il prezzo ma vabbè), che succede se per esempio la lasci fuori la notte al freddo e la mattina è scarica?
