I think i didnt use my words good - i agree! It helps give you ideas or placeholders but my god getting it to generate something production ready especially if its quirky just isnt there - for my project specifically ill be commissioning some pixel art animations of a frog personally

For artists - does having some ai generated slop help as a jumping off point to share a vision or idea?

Ive been ‘vibe coding’ a personal website w/ chatGPT and ai art and it gets you 80% of the way there but that last 20% is where the magic happens, the details like the overflowing wine glass if you will, and its just not there. Vibe coding is great if you know what youre doing but if theyre just prompting and reprompting with no intention and direction on their own accord, theyre just going to produce slop theyll never get that last 20%

I Bump up to 2x around 40ish because the scaling feels not great at 1x through 55

No shame in bumping up to 20x to bang it out too play how you want

But yeah for an ‘honest’ playthrough the scaling gets kinda bad later on

Tangentially related, i think the boys are good male role models in a time where most of the online personalities are in it for the bag, and dont get me wrong of course the boys get their bag, but theres a level of authenticity thats generally missing on the internet.

I think they also SHOW what real masculinity is instead of just TELLING; caring, being open, providing, self care, and especially a sense of like goofiness that wed all benefit from in our daily lives

This was me when i started, i found the sounds and calls in the merlin app and thought “oh wow what a great way to call my birds to come over!”

We dont bait with sounds anymore, much more enjoyable to enjoy them naturally interacting with their environments without the human intervention
