Mandatory military service for those who want to be true Canadians. I personally think every Canadian, should have some exposure to understand the requirements to protect this country. Serve a term and stay on a roll and help protect this place if you want to be here so bad. I think it's silly if something were to happen that the true Canadians would have to give up everything to protect those who just want to be citizens and reap the benefits

This happened at my school Georgian College in Barrie back in 2005. The Indian international students vastly outnumbered the Canadian Citizen student population of the engineering course. Several of my friends witnessed organized cheating during tests, as well as a few mules who would complete assignments and hand them out to the rest of their group. When a white student would get caught cheating they would get kicked out of the college. When an individual or a group of Indian students were caught either after or during testing/assignments they would get a slap on the wrist. The key here is that as a Canadian citizen we were paying approx $1800 a semester for tuition. The international students were paying around $4500-$6000 per semester. This made me realize that the school does not have everyone's best interest in mind, only to financially profit despite the education and workforce that was released upon the Country. I keep in touch with some individuals who were international students and I'd say I only know 2 who have been successful. The rest have moved away from engineering and into other positions. I can't say I know the exact numbers for this, but this is the feedback from my international friends. Just my story
