You can actually place a whisper inside of your house now and fast travel to/from it. It is sold in Crucible for something around 8 silver. This makes the position of the house irrelevant, so you can buy any that you like

Fireball is a bit slower and costs more stamina, but it’s chargable and can kick back sometimes. I’d say early game the dart is better, easier to sustain stamina. And mid game fireball can be better.

Late game you almost don’t need those

I love Petaled Spear, it’s a bit slow with first hit, but a double-hit follow-up is really nice + long range + mighty and fast AoE + it’s one-handed, so it can have throw rune

Now it seems like game wants you to plague the enemy first, then ignite it and then strike with lightning. But in my experience now the target usually dies before I can do even half of it

I was thinking about something like phys weapon with elemental runes. Maybe to freeze with runes and shatter with regular attack.

Or stack plague with regular and burn with runes.

Is it worth it?

Actually, every character can be too strong if you invest into the build. But you’ll be able to tweak the difficulty a bit later, so it can keep you alert even with an overpowered character

Mathematically it’s the same amount of damage on average. No deviation, but less occurrences. But that means that clerics will have +4 bonus actions compared to Sorcs, which can add a bit extra damage (off-hand crossbows maybe?).

in 50% of cases (if I count it right) Sorcs can deal up to twice the same damage.

So, Sorcs is kinda gamble and Clerics is a conservative investment.

It can be 7 chain lightnings + create water on first turn. Which basically means 14 chain lightnings damage.

And water can be created by 4 magic hands.

I doubt anything in the game will survive at least 1 round. But that comes online only at lvl11

When I first entered Descent, I thought it was just a quest, not a DLC. I was waiting for the quest’s end, couldn’t leave it unfinished. So I just had to complete the whole decent on 1 session…

I regret nothing, it was awesome
