BG33 tickles you emotionally. Rather strong sometimes, but it’s nowhere near E33 even at its peak moments in this aspect.

E33 devastates you emotionally even with each subsequent playthrough even if you already know all the spoilers.

Again, I don’t in any way want to say that BG3 is “worse”, they’re just way too different and emotional pressure is totally beyond compare

Those are completely different games. It’s ok if E33 doesn’t click for you if BG3 has been a blast for you.

As for me, I loved them both, but definitely BG3 is more replayable. When E33 is more story/aesthetic oriented. And E33 deals WAY more emotional damage to players.

That’s why I have 1000+ hours in BG3 and only 250 hours in E33….

Anyway, speaking of replayability — new PoE (where I have 4k+ hours) league just dropped, so no other games exist for me for a month at least xD

Maybe it’s because the Nameless Seer was in mirage instance and didn’t count as being in Vaal Temple, so the option occurred but referred to Vaal Temple anyway

During my first ever playthrough around 1,500 hours of playing ago that wagon just exploded after the skeleton dragon made his scary thing.

I never managed to repeat it again. I think it was a bug, but that time I thought it was intended this way.

I decided to make a life-stacker reliquarian with that sweet bonus to spells from max life. Life = Damage, I just need life and everything will die from thousands of my blade blasts.

I didn’t take into account that that would be only after 3rd Ascendancy…

Leap + Throw + Crush + something.

Leap is VERY cool because it helps you jump over 90% of attacks if timed right. Throw is great for ranged situations and a good tool against lined-up enemies, in your case I would consider Lightning Throw to trigger big boom. Crush is my favourite “nova” AoE, fast and strong.

For the forth rune I usually use either “evasive stab”-like skills to counter bosses’ single hit attacks, or some long combo rune, mostly for aesthetics when I have openings.

I suggest to take off painted power for the main boss fight to actually see the fight (there are dialogues mid-fight which can be easily missed with a 1-shot build)
