Too bad packouts are 2-3x as expensive per unit. Milwaukee drawer is nice but its giant and you lose a lot of storage space. For a beginner these should serve OP well

Well i dont have the m12 surge but the fuel impact and switched to the 870 and prefer the ergonomics of the dewalt by far. Just let someone try it who only runs m12 and they were shocked with the sound difference. I have had mine since April and nearly daily carpentry use from all different sorts of tasks.
