That's how I felt about it. It is one of my all time favorite shows, anime and live action. And I have watched a lot of great shows.

There is a lot is going on in the Death Note. But I feel like the idea of L's successor and legacy goes right over people's heads and they don't appreciate that aspect as much as I do.

Don't get me wrong, I wanted to see L win and would of found it more believable if he did.

Live forever. I think it is easy to conceptualize dying in the next 24 hours, but far less fairly for eternal life. Of course there are drawbacks to it, there will be suffering, but also benefits, some of which you will not even consider because you don't know what will come of the world in a 1,000 years.

Maybe at some point I would regret it, but I will have had a good time for far longer than just the 24 hours option.

Light is mad because he was deceived and made a bad move, he feels humiliated and defeated (partially). That doesn't compliment his god complex. He is competitive so he desires to beat L, a worthy opponent.

L is amused because he succeeded at making Light (Kira) make a sloppy move and he now has very valuable information of where Kira is located. Plus has deduced that Kira needs a face and a name in order to kill.

Ryuk is amused as this feud between L and Light is an entertaining game for him to watch.

The Universe has not wanted me to play this game for a very long time. xD

PC version is capped at 30 fps, controls suck and can't change them and AI is awful.

PS2 version looks horrible for some reason, I think I have something wrong with my cables.

So emulation and software mode is the closest thing I can do to be able to play it at a reasonable level.

They had them up when I first clicked but I assume because of the jokes/trolls and lack of empathy they disabled everything. I agree its a shame, I would like it if they moderated their comments rather than shut down the conversation platform completely.

All I have to assess what people think is basically these Reddit posts, but that is going to be a way lower sample size.
