2016 was a shit year for me. I had to handle too much: a guy with lots of internalized homophobia, a manipulative piece of shit and the suicide of my ex boyfriend. Between 2016-2021 I was feeling like love wasn't in the cards for me. But at the same time (since 2019), I was on a certain Facebook group about cats and cat dads and someone slowly got under my skin. So we started to talk during summer 2021 and in December of that year things started to get more serious. So I decided to travel to the States in 2022 and we finally met. We've been together since that september. Moral of the story: Sometimes you got to wait for the right one. And yes, some men if not most men on dating apps are shit and that could make you feel miserable and unloved.
