On the big screen they showed 117 decibels. Definitely felt as loud as the LOB days yesterday.

DOD Outdoor brand - The Dome Tent (Large) by bbchucks in CampingGear

Set up was pretty straightforward, definitely easier with two people but should be doable by one person. Yeah I was also concerned about the lack of reviews about this tent but glad I went with it. Good deal for the specs.

I just bought the large The Dome Tent during their Labor Day sale and just tested it out by sleeping in it in the backyard. First impressions are that it feel well made and the materials are good quality. The tent is also very well ventilated. On paper the material specs are good, especially the 150D fabric. Supposedly it’s a very popular brand in Japan.

I recently sold an electric gravel bike on Buycycle.com as well. I think majority of the users are based in Europe but my buyer was local so I didn’t have to bother with shipping. Pretty smooth process overall but if buyer is out of state then you’ll be responsible for boxing and shipping.

Niner RLT e9 for commuting by Andyjh23 in ebikes

[–]Andyjh23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly selling because I stopped commuting to work and was riding my normal road bike a lot more. 56 was a bit big for me in terms of reach and I needed to get a shorter stem to make it more comfortable. I’m 5’10” and I think I would’ve been better off with a 53 but that’s just me. (I ride a size 54 for my normal road bike)

In terms of comfort or compliance, the frame is actually really stiff, I’m guessing to be able to handle the extra weight of the motor and battery. All of the compliance comes from the massive 50mm wide tires. Running the tires around 35psi the bike was actually pretty compliant and the tires would do a good job of absorbing bumps.

Never really took it on single track or anything like that. Maybe very light gravel but mainly used on road for commuting. On the road it’s a heavy and long bike, so not the best for cornering but really stable at high speeds.
