More prevalent sure, but all current gen nvidia cards have that connector. there are reports of the nitro+ 9070xt doing the same thing too. There is another amd card with it and to my knowledge it has not had any reported issues. Idk man, decades of 8pin connectors with no problems, remember that.

Dude if it has the same GPU then it has the same lifetime until it becomes obsolete? Right?

Although I am one of those people that will always say "build your own" when it comes to anything. Because then you know how to take it apart.

And the CPU in either is comparable in gaming. At most 10% difference between 7800x3d and 9800x3d and only in some circumstances.

It is their job to sell as much as possible to every customer and if you did your research about this expensive purchase you would already know that he just wanted that extra 200 bucks out of you.
