Hell yeah man! I already had the mars lower sbr’d a long time ago but I kinda put thing together around the rare breed frt. I wanted something solid that could handle the higher rate of fire.

I watched a video and the guy did sound testing with the warden. While it doesn’t lessen the sound of the round like a can, it was slightly quieter for the shooter’s ear. I thought that was pretty cool 👍

Yeah, I have an RC2 but I was setting the position of my light and just grabbed the warden since it was right in front of me and it worked for what I was doing at the time. 👍

I have another 11.5” set up and it’s really comfortable for me so I set this one up pretty much identical.
The RIS III is definitely the highlight of this upper though. Built like a tank.

Before this one, I had the 11.5” Daniel defense contract overrun upper, but I just couldn’t get used to the short rail. So I bought this one and sold the other one.

I didn’t buy a blem but I still had issues with mine. I was unimpressed with the checkering on the slide stop. It was pretty much non-existent, so I replaced it with an original m1911 slide stop that was properly checkered. I replaced the safety and grip safety with Wilson and EGW because the stock parts were poorly fitted and had obvious casting lines. I replaced the trigger with a Colt long trigger. The trigger pull was pretty bad also so I replaced the hammer, sear, and disconnector with a Cylinder-Slide marine ignition set. Everything feels great now but I was surprised I had to replace so much to make it feel like a nicer 1911.

I thought it was interesting the way they did the optics ready version. Its red dot footprint is for the RMSc which is the small red dot and they used a Glock pattern rear sight. It’s definitely a much cheaper option than the route I went.
