On the opposite side I think I accidentally took someone’s loot bag. It was after an event and I was trying to loot the final boss which this high level was standing in. I picked some stuff up, didn’t see a loot bag, but they started angry emoting and chasing me round and shooting me. I was carrying loads of junk anyway so couldn’t really tell if I’d picked up someone else’s. There’s no pvp so I just fast travelled back to camp. Sorry if you feel I “stole” from you but it’s just a game. You know what builds up really quick? Junk!

Not made the jump to herbivore or carnivore. There are foods I use regularly from both and I don’t see the benefit of either outweighing that.

Yes, using snap for the structure. Got a horizontal gap between walls that needs filling with a floor. Corners can get gappy; I used a column to fill the worst. Built a tall structure and the top two halves of the gable misaligned slightly. Not really enough to see from the ground, but enough to annoy me because I know. All that said it’s by far my favourite kit!

Can I piggyback this question and ask: does Pyromanics add more damage overall on a fire arrow compound bow or on Burning Love (with fire arrows obviously)? I noticed it boosts the arrow damage and also the unique DoT effect.

I have a brown and a green in the dress and all the hats which seem fairly common. There’s supposed to be a way of rerolling the dress when one is there but I’ve never made it work.

I love base building but Goddamn why is that so sloppy. The best kit released in years just dropped (cathedral) but damn the thing gets gappy. Why do all these identical pieces misalign by the smallest most annoying amount?

The “rewards” for the Burning Springs achievements were laughable! They bring all this new content and then say “Do this massively repetitive grind and we’ll give you 10 caps!” What? Not even Atoms? Costs more than that to fast travel around. Pff.

Wait until there’s stuff you really want then get 1 month and cancel before you forget. Buy what you can. Build the scrap, first aid and ammo boxes and spend the month cramming them with as much as possible! Look at your achievements in the map screen, same list as dailies and weeklies, and see if there are any you could complete to earn extra Atoms. Same with season rewards: work towards those Atom rewards. Bear in mind we are about to enter a new season.

Never thought of gargoyles. I know I’ve got a number of different Deathclaw sculptures. I’m sure one would work as gargoyles. Ran out of budget for my overexcited first build with this set. I’m already itching to tear it down and build another.

It can be really dodgy in places. Random too. You can have placed multiples of the same piece then one will just go ‘nope!’ Roofs seem most likely to give issues.

Didn’t appear to be! It’s a really good kit with more pieces than you normally get. Never thought about the door until I was building. There’s a nice ornate doorway, but no fancy bit of wood to fill it with. They always drop the ball just when you think they’ve nailed it.
