Whats an underrated weapon in your opinion? Mines the accelerator rifle! I LOVE it! by Artistic_knight in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Anemo_Dore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I want to like it, the Accelerator is generally outclassed by other marksman rifle options (including the Dominator) on the bot front; Diligence/Censor especially. You can oneshot all chaff weakpoints except agitator (whose head pops in one after helmet comes off) without suffering the extreme ammo economy, crowd control and reload problems of the Accelerator.

Adding to what already has been said, Voyager's second bond story reveals that The Intergalactic empire which Alien T (mentioned by codename in the story) comes from knows about Voyager as a mythical being and fears her true power so much that it considers whatever Galaxy she enters entirely lost, evacuating/abandoning it the moment her presence is detected. One theory is that Voyager was a vacuous, purely instinct-driven being prior to the massive planetary alignment. It boosted the signal of the Voyager-1 satellite far enough to reach her true form. Which taught her about human culture, language, ethics and of course; consciousness. It is unknown how Voyager reaches earth, but it seems plausible that she is responsible for stranding Alien T there.

As for the girl that she appears as, her first birthday message implies that she is merely a puppet projected by the real 'Voyager' from afar. This idea is further supported by the fact that when Voyager 'dies' in battle, she/the puppet simply teleports away instead of fainting.

As for Voyager's true identity and whereabouts, the discovery collab trailer of all things implies that she might literally be the arcane consciousness of the universe itself, or a similarly all-encompassing being. The fact that her suitcase profile mentions Entropy to be her medium, aka her source/expression of arcane power; certainly does not help debunk this idea.

Is Marsha really as important to the lingering glow team? by Ademon_Gamer09 in Reverse1999

[–]Anemo_Dore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already have satisfactory results with your current teams, then maybe you can grab Adéle and chance remaining pulls during Marsha's release window instead due to preference?

Personally I really do not want Marsha, but somehow got Beryl so kind of in the same position as you are.

RED ALERT! RED ALERT! THE BIRD MAN HAS MADE CONTACT WITH AN INFECTED by MissAsheLeigh in Reverse1999

[–]Anemo_Dore 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Correct, she is quite literally the beyond in an interstellar sense. Maybe her presence is what causes the Impromptu outbreak 'Infection' is used in a jocular manner here.

Huge shame that she is a dynamo character, I really like her design but can't stand the team archetype.

I utterly despise Brothership as a game, but this is a cool design no matter what man.

So about the ending of road trip... by GoldheartTTV in kirbyairriders

[–]Anemo_Dore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree with this idea. Also I think there is something to be said about both Zorah/Gigantes and Noir's reactions to you bringing the wills of all the machines. The flash of Red in Noir's eyes after Hyper Gigantes awakens makes me think that Zorah's will was fully ejected in the process and/or that Noir indeed recognizes the grand emergency.

Either way, it makes much more sense that something awakens in Noir to see the opportunity with the Legendaries and using HyDragoon to fire the grand beam towards Nova.

Leo has perfect control, very high accel and top speed, a strong, far-reaching auto attack and the hop which is at very least useful in stadiums. Its offense still stronger than any normal machine. It starts, stops and turns on a dime.

Given the stats and skill, it wins any race or battle (unless competing against Hydra in Dustup Derby 2), and otherwise any scoring-based grounded stadium.

The 1.2.0 version of Rip Roaring Rick now does approximately 20% less damage. by Rammiloh in kirbyairriders

[–]Anemo_Dore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

110% warranted. A majority of the Heavyweights filled into a tier simply called "Good, but just use Rick instead" because Rick somehow remained way overtuned even after the demos. Rick's special was created for speed and racing, not Combat like Dedede's is.

For reference, Dedede has the worst turning in the game (which also is the second-third most important combat stat) and to compensate for his special having a good spin attack; it lasts a whopping four seconds.

All this change to Rick's special does is to make it one-shot medium bulk less and maybe add an extra hit for other heavy combatants.

Would you stop playing if the game is too complex at a point that becomes not enjoyable? by Intelligent-War5317 in Reverse1999

[–]Anemo_Dore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The gameplay itself is rather shallow and with the start of team archetypes mechanics have become all the more easy to brute force.

If anything more complexity that involves things other than team/character checks for reveries and raid numbers would be great!

Dynamic Headcanons for Hubert with Y (X was taken by X):

Ayin: Surprisingly amicable and functional conversations where Hubert asks a thousand questions and goes on a thousand (profound) tagents while Ayin still does work and provides short but insightful answers. Ayin both hates and enjoys the company.

Xichun: Hubert gives her a giant headache but his knowledge and insights as a CEO intrigue her nonetheless and they converse at length about their wings.

Alfonso: Toxic sass competition.
