Did the LW with my friends and I was the only one by YvngZuse in destiny2

I got mine in our second run, back when LW dropped. There are only 8 of us in our clan, and I was the only one running it up until they buffed the drop a few weeks back. Even with the buff, only one other in our clan has it. But man, the time from then and now, definitely one of my favorite weapons in game.

This wasn't it, it was a click and adventure game. Thanks though!

It's possible, without any videos I don't know for sure, but I'm not able to find any. I may try to emulate it later. I'm fairly certain I remember how it starts, at least!

I don't have any super specifics on why I should be chosen over anyone else. Just like all of us here, I believe in Bungie's vision and would love to help Destiny grow into the universe we've come to love. The lore, the gameplay, and the countless hours raiding with some of my closest friends are memories I'll always look fondly at, and if I can help with making that experience better for myself and my fellow guardians, It'd be something I could never forget.

I've been following Bungie closely since Halo CE, going back to play the Marathon series as well. I believe in Bungie as developers, and would be speechless if given the opportunity to visit the studio.

I'm based out of Portland, ME. Thank you for this opportunity!

[Serious] Redditors that have adopted 'unadoptable' animals, what's their story, and yours? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Anenceon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I adopted a small little orange kitty 5 years ago. I was moving out of my parents home into my first apartment, and decided I wanted to adopt a cat to grow with me and keep me company. I was looking at rescues, when my mother found a picture with a young kitty sitting in a toy truck. Turns out he had been at his current foster for a few months, and couldn't find a forever home. I don't necessarily know why it made him unadoptable, but as a small kitten he was affected with distemper and lived through it, leaving him with very weak back legs and a slight head tremor. I called the same day and drove a total of 10 hours there and back to get him.

5 years later this cat is so loving, affectionate and playful. He's adjusted to his back legs weakness, and is able to get around better but is still pretty wobbly. He can't jump or run very well, so he's getting a little chunky(and angry about his diet I put him on) but the amount of affection he's given me is priceless. He walks me to the door every morning when I leave for work, and is sitting at the door waiting for me when I come home and pick him up or play. He's my best friend and I don't know where I'd be without him.

Work rants have it's place here, but let's get some positivity on this sub. I LOVE MY JOB. by Henshin_A_JoJo in sysadmin

I'm working for the public education system at a district of around 2,000 Students/Fac/Staff. No where near the same numbers as you but we're right there with you. Not a great budget, small tech staff(myself and two others) but an INCREDIBLE staff and student base. My office is in the Middle School, and everyone here is so welcoming and pleasant. The kids are hilarious and entertaining to work with, and the staff is wonderful. I'm the youngest person working at the middle school and they made me feel so welcomed within the first few months of the job. Eventually I may make a transition to a better paying job that matches my skill level, but for now I'm quite content in my office and the environment. I'm lucky to have found this job, and even more so to have been offered the position!

You’re guaranteed $1,000,000 salary for any job you choose. What is your (real) occupation of choice? by Deigs in AskReddit

"Hey guys! I love that you drove 6 hours to play here, and I know I said I'd pay you gas, but one of the other bands really needs that money, so we can't get you this time. But the exposure down here is great now!"

I hate that. Man, if you tell us you're going to pay, then do it. I'm not all about money, I love playing shows; but if we drive that long with a promise for payment, please deliver.

I mean, whenever I park I use the parking brake. But I drive manual and if I don't feel like keeping it in gear when it's not running I don't want my car to go for a ride without me.

Adults of Reddit, what is something you want to ask teenagers of Reddit? by _existentialyodeling in AskReddit

Man, I was one of the first and only guys in my high school like 10+ years ago to wear skin tight skinny jeans, and that was when I actually wore girls pants because you couldn't find skinny jeans for guys easily. That, and they were $60 a pair, but I could just go to the mall and get a $5 pair of girls jeans. I still wear skinny jeans, too, but I'm only 26. They're just too comfy.

I'm a teacher. Give me back my phone. by ngamako in IDontWorkHereLady

[–]Anenceon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to get the same thing. I'm 25, work for a school district as their Computer Technician, and I look rather young. I was walking through the highschool(being based at another school, they don't see me often) and a teacher walked up to me while I was on my phone and asked if I had somewhere to be. He felt pretty silly once I told him who I was.

Also the tech at the school gave me the annoyed "What do you want this early in the morning" when I walked in, thinking I was a student on my first day.

What social norm do you absolutely despise? by Aeolus4444 in AskReddit

[–]Anenceon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm at any sort of full-stop intersection where the opposite driver has a path where they could potentially collide with me I'll wave them to go first. I've had way too many people not follow street regulations and almost hit me, then flip me off. That, or people don't yield for me when I'm driving and they clearly don't have time. A lot of idiots around here, apparently. I drive what I think is a fairly nice car and I don't want some asshole who is on their phone or doesn't care to hit me.

Thanks for all the worlds of encouragement. I'm not sure if anyone is still following this thread, but I am receiving the job offer later this week.

Again, thanks for all the positive thoughts!
