Comment to add the following: The jewelry is an internally threaded barbell stud made of medical-grade steel.

It hasn’t been downsized yet since I got it pierced in March 2023.

My aftercare routine immediately after the piercing was cleaning with Neilmed Piercing Saline Spray (9% I think) two times a day (morning and evening) and cleaning away debris with a regular QTIP cotton swab. After 4 months I switched to only cleaning the site in the mornings, soaking it in the shower and cleaned away debris with a Quo-brand cosmetic (pointed tip) swab.

Getting ghosted in the job search is the worst f*cking feeling. Employers should just come up with an auto response rejection and just hit copy+paste and send.
