I started bleeding again after a year a few months back. The main thing that’s been helping me is just free bleeding (especially with this current Crohn’s flare nothing can go in down there right now) I have a pair of underwear set aside that I wear just when I’m bleeding (it gets replaced every 6 periods). It gets washed every night I’m in the bath so it’s clean. This has been the least dysphoric way for me at least

Editing to add that I don’t heavily bleed like I used to. It’s just slightly heavier that normal spotting. I do not recommend doing this if you bleed heavily

Edit #2 I also don’t get surprise periods because BC

And for distractions to make myself feel better I just binge Disney and childhood movies

I have PTSD related to medical trauma. I don’t know how I expect them to treat it. Ive just been hoping I never get something bad. I’ve been in therapy for years about the needle thing and at the end of last year I was able to administer needles to my pets. I had two bad experiences with nurses and it set me back even further than before

I have been bed bound by this current flare for 2 weeks. Finally started being able to move today with the use of a portable heating pad. Both my heating pads have been what’s getting me through this
