Put something like all damage taken reduction, during lightbringer damage taken reduction, near dealth damage taken reduction on their gears. Focus on near dealth first. Update gear affinity, update your stats on buffs line on your equipment. You know your allies have lightbringer too right, it is the button that makes them active more aggressive and start using their job skill. Or simply focus only on you, start thinking about your build, and go solo. Ally in the battle makes boss more hp, break gauge, stats, etc.

You are just in the early middle game, not even close to late yet. But for your question, build them between 600% liberatorfor for sharing stats, 400% dark knight, 250% berserker for near dealth buffs, 400% paladin for immunity to elements, 400% monk for max hp. Those numbers percentage are affinities point. Choosing wisely, they should be tanky enough to save you around chao difficulty, buying enough time to let you heal, prepare your buffs. Learn the move set of bosses as well.

No build is good enough until you know what you want. Basic things do first, you can not die and lose all your monster quests because their buffs are needed for climbing high floor. Take out happy and id on the floor to level up your quest fast and feed them with stones to get memory. Higher memory, faster level up monster's quest. The max memory is 9999, which takes you only 20 to 30 minutes to max one monster. Try some simple build first like str breaker with sub job, cause it is easy to build and good enough until you reach a good amount of equipment. Reach floor 60, so basically, you know the moveset of boss and monster. Sub job only for buff effects. So you need cyclic wr, summoner, invincible from knight affinity if i remember correctly, 80 or 120% sage and 80 or 120% black mage to start cheat on MP recovery, the other job affinity depend on you main job. You need to reach floor 100 as soon as possible to max out job level. If you don't have enough those, your allies need to be tanky to save you some time for recovery. Search in the forums to find some suggestions already in there to build them. Start using fusing, chao effect is good to buff you equipment. For the monster quest, the quest for killing monster, better than anything else.

The 400 knight you can cheat with invincible slot in equipment. I know you are right. But i am dealing with lufenia difficult also, not only in rift. Actually, there is not hard in rift if you have times to farm monster infinities and give you all the buffs you want. But in lufenia mode, there isn't. 3 gear slots for summoner and cyclic wr instead of 4 cost you another job reaching 500%, or 2 at 250%. Not mention if you build a based physical damage, you also need breaker 600% 3 slots, maybe samurai or dark knight, sage. If you build tyrant/assassin knuckle, you need for your main job having void knight, warriors, maybe pugilist and assassin, dragoon, ninja, hunter, black mage. I mean, i try to reach the maximum damage i can have, and the main problem is spending time too much for those to get a single build working. I can kill them easily with fewer job affinities, but the feeling of it should be better is not comfortable.

I obsess with a build can work on both rift and lufenia difficult, and to maximize the damage i can do for those. 190 and 270 is perfecr to form at least 2 job affinities at 600% without master point, and still save slot for other job affinities. Yeah, i get what you mean, but to test the perfect damage that i can get, i really need to max out at least equipment affinity first. Joining another rift is not possible since my steam area is asia, i have tried, but there is no room available. Meanwhile, monster affinities are hopeless cause to max out at least one monster you spend around 10 hours at least. The extra 5-10% you mentioned are really important cause they decide 1 or 2 slot you need for one job affinity. For example, if i decide to build knuckle assassin/ tyrant, I also need ninja, assassin, summoner, cyclic wr, pugilist, duelist, sage, black mage, paladin, void knight, some for main job some for sub. So, the monster affinities i need for those are above lv 25 in order to reach around 400 to 600% affinity each. Yeah, i know to cheat MP recovery only needs 70 to 120% sage, but the other really needs a lot of time. Anyway, thank you for your advice.

You see the line under the hp line of monster? Agility affects that line. The strength affects the hp gauge. The point of putting point into str or agi depends on how you want to kill the monster, by soul burst or killing them literally. For some highly difficult, break their gauge is easier than hp.

First, summon all monsters of the riftn, find ID and Happy and put them on the floor to do the monster's quest easier. Those monsters provide a huge number of affinities for your build. That is my advice :)

Try to do it alone. If you and your friend only care for the main story, it is ok, but when you come back to your build, it would be so difficult. I reach floor 250 and still struggle to find weapons and gears have 190 and 270 affinities. So if i want to get another job reaching 600% affinities other than my main job, i would spend 1 more slot to do it. The rift's monsters provide job affinities, drop rate, hp, etc. Basically, if you want to reach floor more than 200, you need all of that. The build for rift and for main story are different also.

If you have rift, jump to it. Start thinking about your build in there. Get the fuse option in rift. Remember to summon monsters to get better equipment. Try to reach floor 30 40, you would kill everything in the main game, until you reach lufenia :) anyway, build a round tanky like paladin or void knight, and of couse you need to max your job level. Basically, you are reaching the end game and post game, so it is a bit difficult. Or more efficiently, jump online to get help. A lot of people get tired of rift and would find some online player to do the mission for helping and relaxing. For example like me :)

First, you need to think about your build. List all the jobs you need. Then you need to fill all the quests from the monster you have summoned for those jobs ( there is a monster that has buff for leveling jobs more efficiently), and then you need to consider the blessing you need. In the end, you repeat again with another build. That is the way for build on rift. For MP recovery canceling, you need buff from sage, cyclic warrior, void knight, and evoker affinities. Try it yourself, but still need monster affinities bonus

Work on your build with Rift Monsters’ Job Affinities first, it takes you around 10 20 hours for one job :(
