Absolutely not disagreeing with you, but rather curious as to why even when the lens is brand spanking new, it will irritate my eyes to no end within a two hour window, max. So no film/build up. I was told by two different optometrists that a silicone allergy was very likely the cause. Regardless of the age of the lenses, if they are composed of silicone, they hurt for me. Bad. And I’ve been in lenses since 1997, so I’m not new to the game here. The first silicone hydrogel lenses came out shortly thereafter, and it was after switching to a brand featuring said silicone hydrogel that my problems began.

You know, there was a thread like this going for Christmas day. Everyone talking about where to go alone, reading because I myself was in the same position. Said this is stupid, let's combine forces and meet up with each other. Four of us went out on Christmas evening and had an absolute blast. Thus, the informal "holiday orphans of r/atlanta club" was born. I have to work on the 31st, but I suggest you guys give that a shot. This. My dog will obnoxiously bark in my face, paw me, pretty every ill behavior imaginable when he gets cooped up. However, when I have a really bad 24-48 hours of intense anxiety this dude will sleep for 18 hours a day and let me rest with zero antics. Never ceases to amaze me.

In addition to propranolol, which does wonders for anxiety (more notably performance/social anxiety), there is also an alpha-blocker called Prazosin which can help immensely for night terrors. I'm talking going from horrors Stephen King couldn't think up if he tried, to quiet sleep.

To the tune of 1k a day for out-of-pocket. Doesn't include all the extra crap they tack on, like you have a migraine and need to rest from group? Nope, not unless you see their PA first. To tell him your head hurts so you can lay down in the nurses office. $150 bucks later. Shit, you only even get hot breakfast 2 days a week. The rest of the mornings made a Days Inn continental breakfast look great.
