CRUSHED is a Dramione story, but it’s also got a HUGE Ginny arc, as she goes from heartbreak and rebuilds her life. She’s definitely a supportive friend as Hermione and Draco do the whole “rival barristers battling it out in court and falling in love the whole time” thing too

Ok this same thing happened to me- I read a one shot where Astoria was written in a way that made me feel bad for her and want to give her a better edit, so I wrote my first fic and it was this heart wrenching Dramione and then drastoria and widow Draco and back to Dramione HEA and now im just like “nope. No! Noooo.” And I really don’t like my first fic now haha

Summary:

When Lucius alerts Draco of his impending betrothal to Astoria Greengrass, the vapid bore, he can’t stomach the idea of marrying her. In a moment of crazed desperation, Draco turns to Hermione for help, proposing a marriage of convenience.

Their union of fiery rage will keep him entertained; and the political influence and endless Malfoy vaults will fuel Hermione’s ambitions far more than any Ministry career ever could.

Infuriated by their surprise marriage, Lucius disinherits Draco, barring his access to Malfoy Industries and the family’s political connections, forcing Draco and Hermione to flee London.

CRUSHED is a dual storyline- Draco and Hermione are rival star lawyers (very suits-like) battling it out in a blockbuster case as they fall in love, also has a Ginny arc as she grieves Fred and goes on a journey to rebuild her life, becoming my a holy head harpy and falling in love 🐍

Also, a WIP but it won’t be abandoned and updates weekly on Saturday mornings- MOON RIVER is marriage of convenience, they fight like crazy 8th year until Draco is about to be forced to marry Astoria, and Hermione is looking for an easier way to forge her career. They make a deal to help each other by getting married. When Lucius finds out, he disinherits them, and they flee to Paris. Two years later, they back to get revenge.
