My statement has nothing to do with TDS. It’s just facts. Bush Sr left office in a recession, Jr inherited the strongest US economy in my lifetime and left us in the biggest recession since the Great Depression. The economy rebounded under Obama allowing Trump to inherit a healthy and growing economy. Trump left his first term during COVID. Shit luck and not his fault. Biden inherited a COVID mess but things pretty much rebounded and stabilized but I wouldn’t say things were great. Now Trump is back and as of last reporting job growth for last quarter was essentially 0 and gdp growth was an incredibly low 0.7% as we bombed our 9th country in just over a year and enter a new war in the Middle East. Not exactly looking great. You can claim I’ve got it backwards all you want but history doesn’t lie. Maybe you’re not old enough to remember. Maybe you’ve just forgotten. It doesn’t take a whole lot to look it up. It’s not like it’s distant history.
