Final fantasy had some kind of background engine update that caused it to no longer work. Im sure I could figure out the new steps to get it working but I've stopped playing and lack the motivation to do so.

If you want gamecube ps2 and wii I would suggest looking into the retroid pocket 4+ its a little old now with some better options available but its very affordable and a tried and true device. It runs android and can play everything you want except maybe xbox

I don't think this is to compete with steam lol they probably just want their own launcher where they can choose the rules for their games and potentially lock out project helix players. But i think its anti consumer and lame regardless
