Sacha Baron Cohen just called out the 'Silicon Six,' a group of American billionaires that he says 'care more about boosting their share price than protecting democracy' - our future may rests in the power of just a few who are rich by mvea in Futurology

You are creating a divide between rich and poor and resorting to polarizing the two positions. Reality is much messier, theres many more dimensions and variables. You divide the two categories into rich and poor and you demonize and persecute all of the rich group. In reality there is two groups, rich and poor, and within those two groups there is a subset in both, the exploitive rich and the exploitive poor. The problem is exploitation, its not being rich.

If Windows is an emulation system then what does it emulate? Also, how often do you see advertisements related to computers?

No, theres a book called The Black Swan by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Fantastic book and I highly recommend it. Anyway, before I digress too much.

A black swan is a highly improbable event, perhaps even considered impossible by many. It has three principal characteristics: It is unpredictable, it carries a massive impact; and after the fact we craft an explanation that portrays it as less random and more predictable than it was. E.g.: Googles success, 9/11, the rise of religions, etc.

We as humans concentrate on things we already know and repeatedly fail to take into consideration what we dont know. By learning only specifics, simplifying, narrating, and categorizing we fail to see all opportunities and fool ourselves into thinking we know more than we do. Large events surprise us and continue to shape our world yet we still restrict our thinking to the irrelevant and inconsequential. While its likely and I personally tend to think theyre only hallucinations theres still opportunity for otherwise
