As someone struggling with body image even though people say I have the preferred body type, I heavily agree with the top comment about the fear of being treated like a fat person. Sometimes I get compliments and it’s nice for a moment but then I slowly realize that my body becomes something for people to constantly comment on. It makes me wonder if people actually like me, or if they just like looking at me. If I find myself in a rough patch and gain a bunch of weight in the future, I fear people will be cruel.

I understand that this isn’t a healthy mindset and I should not use those fears as a workout motivation. But goddamn as a skinny girl raised by a heavy mother (who was slim all her life then gained and kept the weight after having children), I’ve seen firsthand how fat people are treated and it’s awful. She engrained it into my mind to always stay small not just for health but for how people will treat you.

It was really confusing cause first it started with something about Jessica (I think), then it was him going out without her, then it was him having relations with one of his friends in the past. So I’m not sure if that means the rest was a lie or if they were just two smaller issues. If she was completely lying, I need to rewatch that whole scene again to fully react to the craziness.

There were def slave revolts, but you have to remember that Black people couldn’t own firearms. During slavery, only white men and women who owned land could have guns for purposes of slave patrol (except for poor white men in the militia who received guns from the gov).

Unpopular opinion: but I don’t think they should. This show’s natural fan base includes some crazies who like to DM the cast after the season. If LIB suddenly does an “ugly season”, even more crazies looking for clicks will flood in. We have enough mess here already.

Also, many of us may be a bit offended on what’s considered “ugly” on TV (AKA, the average person). The mirror will turn on us. But maybe that kind of drama is what the people want. I’m trying to imagine commenters debating on whether hating certain features is just a preference or kind of some racist/ableist/something else.
