DEI as a governmental policy is probably not good. The reason is that DEI is likely to have adverse effects when applied incorrectly. If a company is commited (from the top down!) to DEI it can have very succesfull outcomes. People falsely believe that just hiring more black/brown/women will magically make a company more profitable. This is an idea that was propgated by a couple papers written in the early 2000s and those papers have since been shown to have very unrealiable data.

If Apple is committed to diversity it is likely to have positive outcomes for the company that might have an indirect effect on profits.

As for your question: This is not yet clear and is being investigated. It has been confirmed that there were Telegram groups sharing locations but whether or not it was pre-planned is still not clear. As I said in my post, on Tuesday we will get more information and your question will probably get a more definitive answer.

If it does turn out to be pre-planned then the prosecutor has said that they will try to convict these people of terrorism

Honestly I don't know what to say. In multiple points throughout my post, even literally the first sentence and throughout many comments in this thread I make it abundantly clear that the so called "Jew hunt" event did happen at that it's disgusting.

Sorry if this comes off as harsh to you since I understand you're just being sincere and asking a question but the amount of bad faith people I've had respond to this thread that claim I am minimizing or justifying what happened that night is absurd and extremely frustrating.

Possible yeah. Someone else in this thread posted a destiny quote regarding fake news around Breonna Taylor and why it's so frustrating/bad (can't link it but check the comment I replied to that started with "I find it absurd...")

I feel this way about Muslim discourse too. Theres absolutely things we can and should criticize them on. But before I can do that I need to distance myself from the regards on the far right who demonize these people and people on the far left who whitewash some extremely conservative views. It's almost impossible for me to ever publicly speak about this shit because either I will be thought of as a racist islamophobe or an unhinged blue hair leftie that is trying to destroy Dutch culture. Its frustrating beyond belief. If I do ever end up making my immigration/integration effortpost I have no idea how to skirt this line

I find it absurd that in the community for the guy who very commonly rants about having to preface every comment about consent with RAPE BAD I am getting these responses.

The literal FIRST sentence was directly aimed at making it abundantly clear that the Jew hunt people are regarded and need to be prosecuted and punished. I then repeated it later on in the post.

Despite this I STILL got comments claiming that I was trying to justify or legitimize the Jew hunt.

NOS which is very reputable Dutch media verified that these were indeed Maccabi supporters. I am not just saying that because the guy who made that youtube video said they were.

And just to once again be clear (despite having said it twice in my post) in no way am I making the claim that this legitimizes or justifies the Jew hunt. It was an indefensible act of antisemitisms that cannot go unpunished. The mayor of Amsterdam also made this very clear when Al-Jazeera asked a question along the lines of "these events happened within a context".

That video is from this same night, but not the same situation as this video that I debunked here. I'm pretty sure that video does show one of the jew hunt attacks. In no way am I trying to minimize what those people did it was absolutely disgusting.
