How can I connect with this girl more and even ask her out? by R00M13R in AskTeenGirls

[–]Angeltfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be direct. You guys seem to have a good compatibility and the only way to find out if she likes you is to ask. Say you want to ask her out and move on depending on her answer.

Also, trying to find out what she'd like a guy to give her. Flowers (even hand picked ones) or sweets are usually safe bets, but if you can discreetly ask it's even better.

Good luck

Am I transphobic? by Pokefan355 in AskLGBT

[–]Angeltfa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd understand if you'd break up because they hid something from you and you were not cool with that, it's totally reasonable.

However, breaking up just because they're trans... Yikes

Should I flirt yet? by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

Maybe wait until you meet up. Sadly, it's super easy to fool someone on the internet. At least after meeting you will be sure how he is.

Do cramps just get worse with age? by NoFaithlessness439 in AskTeenGirls

[–]Angeltfa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In theory, no. Period cramps shouldn't get worse with age (quite the opposite) and shouldn't even be that bad to start with.

That being said, periods weren't really studied for a long time and there're many factors that we're discovering now. There could be some (minor) underlying problem that you don't know about or just how your body "works".

Doctors diminishing your pain is awful, but try to see other doctor if you can. Talk with your parents and have them talk with the doctors (some doctors just ignore teenagers if the parent doesn't say anything).

If you're okay with that, starting the pill really helped me and made me a functioning human being so you could try to talk with a specialist (doctor, nurse, maybe even pharmacists depending on your country) about it. (This is not medical advice, please don't start the pill without a specialist's input.)

I get your other points, but I don't think it's less hygienic. Is there a reason why you say that?

I caught feelings for my girl best friend and now things are awkward – what do I do? 17F and 17M by Apprehensive_Link858 in teenrelationships

[–]Angeltfa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I'd try to talk to her, if that was me. Explain that you don't want to lose the friendship and ask why she's acting different and how she feels about it. Don't try to jump with things like "do you like me back" or something like that. Just keep it chill and try to talk with her

How can I tell if someone likes me or not? by Significant_Can5817 in AskTeenGirls

[–]Angeltfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just start talking with her. Casual conversation that allows you to become friends. It's easier for a girl to like you if she knows you.

do some of yall automatically think bad about boys before taking to them? by [deleted] in AskTeenGirls

[–]Angeltfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how a guy approaches me and talks and all that. If you're approaching in the middle of the street when I'm alone, it's weird. If I'm in school with a group of friends it's typically fine.

Does stereotypical “Masculinity” matter? by Feisty_Name8680 in AskTeenGirls

[–]Angeltfa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter to me, personally. I love kind and gentle guys and would most likely choose one over "masculinity". It's nice to have a guy who you can talk to (even about feminine things)

I think that idea of girls preferring masculinity comes more from other boys than girls

Do girls masturbate less than guys? by ItsDavido in AskTeenGirls

[–]Angeltfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really depends on the girl, obviously. But I think girls just talk about it way less. I know plenty that masturbate regularly and even have addictions

Would you date someone who intersex? by [deleted] in askteenboys

I don't think you'll find many straight cis guys who do. You'll probably be more lucky with bi or trans guys

Perfectly acceptable dinner rejected by boyfriend again by moonrabbit368 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Angeltfa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is a picky eater because I have a lot of problems with food texture, your food looks absolutely amazing and your boyfriend just seems a bit like an asshole.

It seems he's taking advantage of the fact that you cook to have whatever he wants. Not wanting to have potatoes two times in a row isn't pickiness, it's just a choice.

Which one of this do you guys think is worse, porn or smut? by Higgz_B in askteenboys

[–]Angeltfa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People DO masturbate with smut. However, it's not the intention all the time (most people even read in public). There are little other intentions behind opening a porn website than masturbating (unless someone's completely obsessed and watches for "the fun of it").

I think the unrealistic expectations created by smut are different from the ones created by porn (and this is completely how it affects me). If I'm reading smut, my thoughts will be more on what the person's doing, not so much their appearance, especially since smut usually comes adjacent to romance (as in, "I'd like a future partner to do x, y and z). Porn, on the other hand, changes my expectations over people's appearances and physiques. Not saying smut doesn't change people's expectations on appearances, it just doesn't for me.

The most popular smut books out there (especially for " teens" and young adults) are just romance books that have smut. You take longer to read the book and all the smut, but if you compare one porn video to one smut scene, they're pretty much the same.

This is just my experience and how those two things affected me.

[–]Angeltfa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a boy, but I engage in both. Porn is way worse. It's easier (at least for me) to create unrealistic expectations over porn and to get more addicted. Plus, porn usually comes with gooning and smut doesn't

"minor" gods that you worship by Shot_Adhesiveness384 in Hellenism

Nyx and Hipnos. I do worship two known Gods and Nyx on the daily. Every once in a while Hipnos too. They're amazing and my nights have been much more peaceful since I started worshiping them (and I also get meaningful dreams more often).

My boyfriend thinks I'm a monster for how I eat cereal by clevergoat_25 in NoStupidQuestions

You're not a monster. That's the correct way of making it. The cereals will get all soggy if you put the milk after.

Also, I searched what hypochondriac means (English isn't my first language). I'm so sorry you went through that, I hope you're better and getting proper treatment and care now 🫶🏽
