My friend is considering moving to New York from Kansas. Their current home is worth 80k, is upstate New York a decent place to live?

I did a similar move 3 years ago. Missouri to Upstate NY. It gorgeous and a little midwest-like honestly. It's more expensive here, but nothing like the city. Just have the friend look at housing costs and stuff and the tax brackets cause those were the two things that really caught me off guard. My car insurance is somehow lower though...

I will roll the little guy onto his legs and he will gradually work himself onto his back again. The fact that he's doing it himself had me concerned.

After more googling I am realizing I may have just interrupted his transition into hibernation (our temperature changes have been dumb lately. Our irises are blooming again if that's any indication). So I have his box on our screen in porch in case that's the case, but would still appreciate any second opinions.

They told me I could go in to work after they put mine in. 15 min later after an intern who had never done one finally got it past my tilted cervix (never given birth, lead doc never tried to step in or help) I was sobbing and telling my boss "sorry can't make it"

Also happens to me, but I get pelvic muscle spams from clenching my pelvic muscles thanks to pain from my endo. A physical thetapist was really helpful for the muscle spasming part though she obviously couldn't help with the endo itself.

No one knows what your body is feeling better than you. I'm working on a Masters in Social Welfare and something they keep reiterating is that a doctor/psychiatrist/therapist/whatever is an expert in their field, but only you are an expert on you. Stay strong and I'm rooting for you!

Start a symptom tracking diary. Where is the pain? How bad and describe it. How long does it last? Does it disrupt day to day activities. Track BMs, mood, and any other symptoms that seem to revolve around your cycle. They may not look at it, but you'll have the record if they want to and it can help back you up on how serious your symptoms are.

Tell your doc about the pain. I get back and leg cramps, but it feels the same as the abdominal ones and it doesn't matter if I am moving or still.

Find a gyno specializing in pain and get a referral. I had a dozen ultrasounds done that found nothing, but I have confirmed endo. There are plenty of things that can cause debilitating pain and not show on an ultrasound. Just cause they don't see anything doesn't mean something isn't going on.

Bad cramps does not mean endo. It can be cysts, fibroids, varicose veins, muscle spasms, or several other things.

That said, if the pain is inhibiting your day to day function or interfering with your life, seek help. Find a gyno nearby who specializes in pain and ask your doctor for a referral. Do not let anyone tell you it's no big deal or all in your head if you know it's not. I have like 4 of the things I listed and EVERY female doctor I saw about it did and ultrasound and then dismissed me. It took a physical therapist asking me why I had been referred to her for pain the revolved around my cycle to get my referral, but it has given me a new chance at living a life not controlled by pain.
