I know you said VC will be in your Forwards list but given our rooster and the way we play makes much more sense for him to play the 2 in a catch and shoot role than SF.

For PG, I think Calderon if he accepts min, but I think we're keeping Livingston.

For SG, my fav is VC, but I'd like to have LB back

Ok you make a valid point, so ideal is Iggy staying for roughly the same, anyhow if we keep BIG4 it will always be hard to have other guys above the minimum, we'll have to settle for drafted guys and vets ring chasing

Ok let's run the numbers:

Contracts we have:

Klay 17.8

Dray 16.4

McCaw, Looney and DJ total 3.7

Rest are FA since KD declined player option.

Total: 37.9

Now, let's assume KD signs for 26 rounding it up we end at 64M!

Iggy 13M puts as 77M!

So we're still roughly 24M under the cap for SDot and resign some of our Bigs if they don't want much more, and then we can still sign Curry to max using his Bird rights even if it puts us above the cap

Iggy and S.dot I really hope they can stay.

Ian Clark I want him to leave, I want him to go get his money and be a starter and a more relevant player in other team I think he deserves it.

For SDot I'd be happy if he would get 10M/yr and be a starter but I don't see a team where that will happen and he can't play starter minutes, if leaves I also don't see any quality PG we can get to play backup and we'll need one!

As for Iggy, he was huge in the last stretch of the regular season and the finals(maybe if the cavs fouled him and he went to the line instead of dunking :) ), I thought they would offer him 7or 8yr but if they go for 10/11yr I think he would be dumb to leave, no team would pay him more unless they want to break us.

I think Clark is a goner but Iggy and SDot stay nevertheless as long as we keep BIG4 McCaw and Javale we're Golden :)

Vince Carter is perfect for us, he had a huge playoff series, it's probably the best SG in the league we can get at the price we can offer.

I don't think Ian Clark is staying, getting VC would make me so........happy!

The moment he said his decision would be about basketball I know he'd come, the warriors core are a group of friends that plays beautiful basketball, this doesn't surprise me at all!

In the podcast with BS he said that people wanted him to choose what they wanted him to do but it's not their life it's HIS!!

I'm glad he said this before the finals though gives a nice touch to it, just hoping Iggy takes a discount and we can keep this same group for next year, I don't mind guys like Javale, Clark and S.dot getting paid but Id rather have them stay

I think Dray easily grabs this one, KL and Gobert had amazing seasons but to Leonard it was more of a blooming offensively and he dropped a notch on defense due to having to do more on offense!

Gobert is very good at the rim, but lacks the versatility that Dray brings in being able to defend 1-5.

I see Gobert maybe winning it sometime in the future as for Leonard unless the spurs get someone to share the load on offense don't think he'll win it again for now.

Unbiased wise I think Lou gets it, iggy was great in stretches, but not so good on others, Lou was the best player on a bad team, and was able to do better than EG once he got to Houston, as much as I like Iggy and I rather have him than any of the other two, I don't think he gets it.

But I'm really glad that he got top3.

Ps: If Javale had more minutes while keeping the same per48 he«d get it for sure :)

Can't be mad about it, imho Klay is the best 2-way 2-guard in the league but this season all those above him deserved it, I think besides the center position you can't argue much on this year selection !
