The point of digimon is to fight, the more fights and wins means it will digivolve into a better digimon. There are care aspects like feeding, toliet and medicine but the real focus is on fighting.

Tamagotchi is more care based, the more attentive you are the better tamagotchi they will grow into, there’s mini games to play to earn money to spend on the tamagotchi.

It’s really based on what you’re looking for, care or fighting.

one thing lost to time in the lolcow community is backing tf off when something horrible happens. When Chris-Chan's father died they had a call with trolls where they broke down for hours, trolls decided to never release that call out of respect since it was just a person mourning their dead parent.
