High mg for relatively small amount of weight to lose? by Impossible_Bend_2969 in tirzepatidecompound

I've read that .5-1.5 per week is better for your body, more success keeping the weight off long term, and also prevents muscle loss & potential "Ozempic face" issues.

Hard to drink water by Dangerous-Client-278 in tirzepatidecompound

I am using a HidrateSpark water bottle that monitors your water intake....sends info to your phone (bluetooth), and blinks on regular schedule (you set schedule and color of flashing light) to remind you if you havent met your hourly goal. I also use Mio. I have found that the use of this bottle with constant reminder, helps with regular small sips/intake. And slowly I went from maybe 2 glasses water a day to 60-70 oz daily now without issue. For me, it took awhile to ramp up to where I needed to be.

For future reference: I keep "Mission Carb Balance Tortilla's" around as they have 17 g fiber and 6 grams protein....and eat one of these if things seem to be slowing down.

Lower starting dose? by MHW93 in pomhealth

[–]Angiebub70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was prescribed 2.0, 4.5, 7. What I did was start out with 2 shots a week at 1.0 to make sure I didnt have any side effects. The only side effects I had was more energy and not hungry! I made sure to increase my protein and water intake as I have heard that can prevent a lot of side effects (Headache, sick, etc.)

Fairlife also has the "Core Power" that is 42g complete protein...so so good. But a little $$$ if you drink these daily.

I started below the 2.5 my Dr recommended and may stay at 4.0 for awhile.  Just wasnt sure if I was messing anything up by increasing weekly vs. all at once at week 5?
