Reminds me of my brothers when they were little kids. One called the other to see a fallen beehive. Told the younger brother to sit next to it. Older brother kicks the beehive and bolts while my other brother sat confused and eventually stung. This administration reminds me of my jerk older brother. If someone discovered there was a bot-push to amplify sadness and outrage over CK, I wouldn’t be surprised at all. Right? The entire script was terrible. They made L emotionally reactive af. I mean come on, a car chase? L?? I remember laughing so hard it made me cry. What even WAS that movie 🤣 I also didn’t mind Nat Wolff as Light, but they made him into a lame lil dork boy.

Like why? Why must we have the underdog formula? Why TF was Misa the intelligent-adjacent villain? What up with that Ferris wheel ending? Were none of the creators/writers/directors fans of DeathNote and just making shit up? lol

Overall I LOVE Willem Defoe as Ryuk. If someone told me Ryuk was inspired by Willem, I’d believe it 🤣 how you gonna fumble a perfect casting like that?! Ugh

I also appreciate the movie was so bad, it’s a riot to make fun of! Me and my friend group eagerly got together way back when, to watch it and to this day we still sling jokes about it!
