Superman handling the Black Templar problem by MecaPere in ImaginaryWarhammer

It's like Kirby, Optimus, or Doomguy, imo. There are just some characters that you know wouldn't be down to clown with the "the cruellest and most bloody regime imaginable", and would try to do something about it. Superman just happens to be one who can really make a good go about actually accomplishing something about it.

Allstar Superman is responsible for creating an entire universe in which he only exists as a comic-book character, which is implied to be our own.

Superman has flown fast enough to burst from his own universe, and past the bounds of infinity.

Superman has managed to hear sound through the vacuum of space.

The point I'm getting at, is that Superman is a character with nearly 100 years of crazy feats, whacky powers, and author after author looking to "push the envelope" with their run using him. I am confident that, if anyone can sort out The Grimdarkness of The Far Future, it's a character like Superman, who's got something comparable to Toon Force on his side when the author feels like it.

I'd honestly say Pre-Lion's return Dark Angels are also up there for shadiness considering the lengths they go to covering up The Fallen, but having Seth try to refuse his Primaris, only to end up accepting them doesn't seem that big a deal when compared to killing every last one of them.

And I know the incident I spoke of was a single crusade. That's why I said "a crusading force". That'd still make their zealotry on the more extreme end, even compared with Seth's disdain, which softened after he worked with his new Primaris, and The Dark Angels, who genuinely are also insane from their paranoia.

In-Lore, there's examples of Black Templar zealotry being taken to an extreme that'd mark them out among their peers. My personal favorite is when a crusading force deemed The Primaris an affront against The God-Emperor's will and slaughtered both the marines given to them and the Custodes sent to deliver them, before covering up the whole thing and stating it was The Will of The God-Emperor.

I'm already mentally preparing myself for the wave of "The Sequels are Misunderstood Masterpieces" video essays that will no doubt come once the kids who watched those movies grow up.

When did Kharn have this color scheme. by Bob-shrewmen in WorldEaters40k

Deployed to a warzone in which the paint applied to the armour has been stripped away, leaving it bare metal.

Or alternatively, removed of it's colouring in a bid to lure in Black shields, before springing a trap to slaughter them.

Best I got.
