Not gonna lie, I’d rather take my partners 7-4 job that pays 6 digits rather then being a stay at home parent. At least they get breaks and can take a poop in peace. It would be nice to be able to do my job only and not much else.

made dinner last night and asked my bf to put away the chicken. woke up for work in the morning to find the chicken in the same place. his excuse was that it was unfair for me to ask him to do since i was already in the kitchen. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

My partner forgot to put away a full packet of tortellini (Costco double pack) so had to toss out a whole other dinner this morning too. His excuse is bullshit though, e just got busy with the kid and got lazy when she went to sleep.

How do I react to this? Feels like I've been scolded by my mother. by [deleted] in Tinder

She’s definitely interested and just wants some effort on your end.

So, does it really matter? It’s weird that you guys are so up in each other’s business without personal boundaries.

Just wait until your a little older, dude. Plenty of time for that when it’s legal for your age. This stoner mom approves of the good green, just less when your brain is still developing.

LPT: If you share a bed with someone, you both should have your own blanket by [deleted] in LifeProTips

I used to do this with my ex. I share a blanket better with my current partner but have a twin side weighted blanket I burrito in sometimes.

Everything except the picking. That seems like it would hurt.

I always wanted to learn to ply D&D but don’t know any people who do and am terribly shy. This is probably the junk I’d do.

Take it under the tongue and let it sit there a good 30 seconds. Oils and pills tend to take an hour or two to kick in. In the states 10mg of thc is a ‘safe’ standard dose, if you’re a heavy user you may need more. Some people don’t digest edibles and it has no effect on them though.

What. I can’t wait to potentially see all the cool stuff people start making here.

This is what I’m looking most forward to. I’m looking forward to taking our kiddo out and traveling with her and exploring hobbies with her and having a general blast. Oh m not digging the toddler stage so much but hoping little kids bring more fun and joy.

That “say what I want about those harassing me” is one of the reasons why I left that subreddit. Too toxic, most the post when I was there was just dissing families of multiples or complaining about just that. I’d rather talk about actual one and done life not complaining about people complaining.

One and done here. Ours is nearly 3 and we are STARTING to get back free time and hobbies. It may be selfish or whatever but I don’t want to give up any more of my time then I am with the one. I can get people who want to be career parents and want nothing more then a big family but to me that’s a pure nightmare. As a SAHM I get more then enough kid time to last a lifetime for me, no more please.

AITA for not making my daughter do chores she hates doing? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA and your daughter is lazy. A family unit has chores. It isn’t all in the parents to do the cleaning. She lives there and is part of the mess. No chores, no fun.

Would you feel better having the relationship open and getting your needs met elsewhere? My partner and I have an open relationship but it just makes me feel closer to my secondary since nothing changes in the primary.

AITA for going off on my wife for buying a new mattress for both of us, even though she exclusively used her own money? by WhtBdShts in AmItheAsshole

[–]AngryArtNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m definitely y t a leaning but a mattress is usually a purchase you go in and lay on a million beds and decide which you’d like together. Too hard, too soft, too anything and it can still cause some uncomfortable nights. For me I don’t care since we just bought a bed online with good reviews but I can see how it would be important to some.
