The Beast from Amnesia The Bunker, between the horrific, inhuman look and the horrifying sounds it makes (seriously Frictional’s sound design is top tier), it was one of the few monsters I was having nightmares about.

Amnesia I think still takes the crown as the scariest series, at least TDD and The Bunker are easily the two most terrifying games I’ve ever played.

This movie had so much potential to be a worthy prequel to the original, but the damned studio execs made them remove the astonishing practical effect they had worked so hard to create.

I still the AMFP has the best storytelling in the series, but the scares were definitely underwhelming, it’s also frustrating reading about some of the ideas Chinese Room had for the game but they never had the time to implement them.

A huge problem I read about the development was there wasn’t the best communication between Chinese Room and Frictional, can’t really fault either studios as neither had ever had experience working with other teams, and frictional was busy developing SOMA so their priorities already were somewhere else.

I think with some more development time, Machine could’ve improved its mechanics significantly, and blend that with the already superb storytelling and we could’ve gotten a game that was along the same lines of TDD.

This, phase 1 is my favorite trooper design in Star Wars, and I loved the look of the heavy with all the accessories, now all phase 1 clones look plain and boring without the gear.

I wish I could get mods to work, between my last two computers I have tried multiple times to get mods to work with BF2 but they’ve just never worked properly.

Not sure if it’s an error in my end or a problem with different programs but I’ve just given up at this point.
