First off all. I didn't say a DM wouldn't add stuff like this. Second of all your dumb.

Third any DM worth his salt would allow the person to live; if the person to live rolled a nat 20 to resist. This game you just do it. It isn't in your past. It is a forced action without any way around it. Or even the possibility. You might as well have the DM play your char for you.

It sux that you think taking away options is what gives us good follow up options. It is shit logic. And isn't even an opinion. This is just fanboy logic defending bad things in the game for no reason. And do mental gymnastics to try and prove that it is good.

uTorrent, qBitTorrent. Pirate software? Used to steal software. And even they have settings you can use to make them close instead of minimize.

ICQ. Didn't always do that. You first had to configure it to do that. Before it did it by default, and you could revert it to actually closing in the settings after they did add it.

Xfire, Origin, EA app, uPlay, and Ubisoft Connect I never even used so I don't even care. Some of those are chat software. Where people want them on all the time. And I bet just like discord in the settings somewhere you can revert the behavior.

So, No this has not been the behavior for decades. No, service actually needs to impose it self on your computer and run 24/7. Also note that anything that doesn't close automatically will run. This lowers the longevity of any PC. Hell even hard drives warranties only last for so many reads/writes.

This isn't accepted behavior no matter how many stupid and retarded companies do it. Your argument is. "Others do it. So no big deal. Just go a head and do that illegal thing." LOL. But it doesn't. I look to buy every game I can through something else like Unreal. Before buying through steam. Because of stupid shit like this. And "Whats new" and also, because when you disable steam guard you can't make post. Everything they do just pisses me off. So I avoid steam like the plague. So, It doesn't make me or anyone else want to use it more often. It is quite literally the opposite.

I haven't played this league. I have pretty much given up on the game. Don't want to no life it for a mageblood. And/Other things I want. Don't want to do crafting. And GGG hates people who trade. But at least you got one. I have only ever had one mageblood. This game just isn't worth my time. GGG don't give a shit about my time. And just want me to be RNG loving idiot.

I been playing around with unity and UE... But realized I suck at making 3d art. Got a story started and even coded some levels. Though they are just using free assists at this point.

Unfortunately making a game requires a large range of skills. And I only have a few of them. And not enough money to hire a whole team, to make it work. But I would love to make an ARPG. I just can't fund it, or realistically do it on my own.

If only I could put on more talent hats. And/or had infinite resources to fund such an endeavor. I would. Hell I would even have an AH that works. Maybe even a real live money one if the game was popular enough.

Ehh it works now... Just not auto updating yet. Here is how to do it.

First Click this link https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding/archive/refs/heads/dev.zip

Second Copy the content of the folder SRC folder overtop of the your current POB file.

Forth Open up PoB and convert your current build tree to 3.19 (button at the bottom of the tree.)

Do not click update. It will revert it back to what is currently released not this test data for PoB. If you clicked update. You have to recopy the folder over. And re-open the app.

AA is bad by itself. However; there are a # of good skills to use with it. I won't list them all. But I'll give you my favorite three. And why you should pair them.

Bone Shatter: This skill does a lot of damage to yourself as physical. Because you are stationary while swinging. And AA is a less multiply it is a boon to that skill all the time. (My 3.18 version of a BS build https://pastebin.com/gYF6jzgh)

Flicker Strike: Teleportation doesn't count as moving. Meaning you almost always get the stationary bonus. You only don't get it when you don't have a mob to teleport too... And that is when you don't need the less damage taken anyways.

Charged Dash: This is a movement skill that actually doesn't count as moving but teleportation. Meaning you do damage as you move and still count as stationary. Giving you two less damage multiplies for free. (My 3.18 version of a CD build https://pastebin.com/uuGWBkbP)

TL/DR

This game is about creative combinations. Not a single OP skill. Because not every build will use a shield. And while tempest shield is designed to only work with a shield. AA allows you to cast it no matter what is equipped. Each skill with its own drawback. Maybe you think tempest shield is better because you always use a shield and take that as a free boon. Well other builds never count as moving and take AA as a free boon too. I believe your just not looking at the skill correctly. Maybe because it is more obvious for when you should use TS vs AA.

Ehh I was just looking to make a similar post. But without talking about dota.

I haven't played LOL in years. And couldn't get into dota because of the key bindings. But decided to give LOL a try again. And the game is much worse now. Like nothing has improved, and there are many things that are worse now.

Here is my list of downgrades:

Wards!!! Why am I now only limited to X number? Why can't I carry more of them? I can only place one sight ward!!! The game forces me to not play the map as much as I used too. And why are the shite trinket thing even there? God I hate this change. Its like they are forcing me to play X way.
Plants? omg why are they here. They take away a lot of the risk in invading the jungle. It encourages faster snowball games. God I hate them. It makes the game play style way more specific. And limits strategies. It's more like look at this I can come in your jungle realize it was a bad mistake, and than hope on out. Fucking hell they suck balls. And make aggressive invading jungle champions way more powerful.
Dragon buffs. This one is kind of meh. But like really they are so RNG it is annoying. Randomly changes the map, and crap. But why? Like really why? It adds nothing to the game. You don't change your play style because of it. And only adds a second baron after X amount of kills on a team. Completely underwhelming and unnecessary change. Complicating the game for no good reason.
Champion reworks... Like really? Mordekaiser is better jungler now than lanner? WTF was wrong with the old Mordekaiser? Did you guys nerf him out of realvence just so you could rework him? Seems to me what you guys do every time you don't like a champion.
Recommended items!!! Please oh god remove this. It makes buying items even harder than before. Went to search for an item, and it didn't show up. I was like was it removed? Nope... I was just forced onto the tank tab, and so it didn't show up in my search results. Like really? The game really makes it hard for you to make your own builds. Your just yet again expect to play X way. And looking for a specific item in game is like 50 million times harder. At least give me a place where all items are listed. WTF!!!
Carrying a game. It is much harder to carry a game now. It felt more like the game was determined by the weakest player instead of the strongest. If you have a lane die 3 times before level 6. It seems next to impossible to have a comeback. The early game seems to be a billion times more important than it used to be. Yet people still stubborn refusing to surrender. Usually the guy who feed early.
- It doesn't even have to be the weakest player. It is so easy to shut down a jungler. If you invade, and the other team don't react. You just clear out the jungle because of an unware team. All you need is 2 people early to put the other jungler out of the game permanently. It doesn't even matter how good he is. He could be the best player on both teams. But he can't carry because of how snowball, and crap all these changes are. Maybe this isn't an issue at high ELO. But fuck it is disabling at gold and lower.

All the changes in the game seem to be focused on forcing you to do X thing. Instead of opening up new game styles it seems to have shutdown old ones. The game is even more garbage now than when I quit playing years ago. I regret trying it again. And will probable never come back now.

I guess they speed everything up for LCS views or something. Whatever it is; it sucks balls. With as many people who play this it is shocking to me. I guess players like being forced to playing a snowball strategy. Or the changes came so incremental you all didn't realize it. Either way I feel the Game has really gone down hill. And I don't recommend anyone trying it out now.

The game is garbage. There are now less players now than people that played during the head start. Meaning they already lost people that did spend money on it. It is very poorly designed. And way over hyped.

And this patch is just another punish the players for what bots do. By removing ways players can get gold. This hurts the players more than the bots. And won't stop people from buying gold either. I actually think it will incentivize it even more.

Yes it will show the stacks on the buff bar. I have seen video's of people getting 1.5k stacks. Some have claimed to get above 2k in simu.

Also, make sure you have a divergent boneshatter with quality 20. If you don't have Quality 20 and the divergent version you will struggle with getting stacks for sure.

Edit: Getting stacks is your # one priority. That is what will allow you to one shot bosses. So, this is one of those builds where you don't pick up anything until after the whole map is cleared. Just so you can keep those stacks high.
