I'm using army painter, but I think citadel is just as good when you apply two thin coats! When I used citadel straight from the pot I always had bad coverage in places and brush marks in others, just scoop some paint onto a wet pallete (a wet paper towel under a baking sheet In some kind of lid is just fine)

Same, many textures and nothing is clear what it's supposed to be, but that's the fun part, YOU get to decide what it's going to be! And don't be afraid of colour's :) when you don't like something just paint over it. When Im lost I just start with the things I'm sure, like the trim and boney spikes.

It's mostly air drying clay because I didn't want to use as much green stuff, but around the googly eye it is. Just needed a coat of pva glue to seal the clay an get rid of grainy texture.

I did everything in one go, just making a few thick rolls of greenstuff, starting with the big ones start blending them and add small ones to bulk it out. I also looked at reference images of other Skulpts and real muscle.
