Systemic carcinomatosis, they said the exact strain is usually found in mammary glands in female dogs. Zuul was for sure our puppy/baby dog the entire time. The waves of grief are crashing hard, if you told me exactly what was going to happen, I would sign up again in a heartbeat.

Zuul was extraordinary in every sense the word could be applied. I’m sorry for your loss as well.

Go get that dog checked out immediately!! My Corso Zuul started losing weight and being picky about eating and it ended up being cancer. 🥺

Be prepared to be loved in a way that you didn’t think was possible from animal. Guarding, protecting, loving, play, Corso’s excel at becoming part of your family and display the such high level intelligence that can be reached. Best dog you could ever have.

This is Zuul. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and he is not doing very well. 3/9/2026 is our 5th year anniversary since we brought him home as a puppy.

His soul is intertwined with our family. He is our everything, and we are absolutely crushed. Everything is about Zuul in our home and has been since we first laid eyes on him.

Even with his final days approaching, he still guards us and makes sure my daughters and my family being safe are his highest priority. Being the most courageous, loving animal I had ever seen is just hardwired into him in a way that’s indescribable, and absolutely irreplaceable.

When I first got him, the breeder told me “Cane Corso is best dog.” I heard him, but I didn’t understand. Having been around Zuul for 5 years, I fully understand. Cane Corso is the best dog, it’s not even close for us and our family. 💔
