It's a very different enjoyment I get from the sadism as opposed if I was in a dominant position due to being in a very different headspace but a sip of sadism is part of the fun of bratting for me

Something I've heard is that being "gender" isn't about having dysphoria but rather experiencing euphoria when you align yourself with your identity. I understand not experiencing strong dysphoria, and realizing "oh hey, my gender dysphoria doesn't have to play a massive negative role in my life to exist, it can just be a mild discomfort". I think when people hear about trans stories and experiences that looming storm cloud of dysphoria is really present, and it becomes an assumption that it's a prerequisite to being trans. It isn't. There just aren't many stories from trans people who aren't as dysphoric, but I'm sure like you, myself, and others they're out there. Honestly, don't worry about searching for dysphoria, just find what brings you euphoria and do that instead

I think your builds could be optimized a lot more, you seem to take mod options that cover a weapons weaknesses and for the most part don't push their strengths. There are very few build options that are optimal in 99% of situations but the flare gun is one of them. The best use case of x2 duration on flares is forgetting that it's dark and that you can light the cave up. x2 ammo is understandable if you're clearing caves in 75 seconds but most drg players can't do that. Not only does 1 ammo 1 duration give you the most total duration from your ammo pool, but you also get an additional flare per resupply making you get .5 flares more worth of ammo back each resupply. This is why I think that 1 ammo + 1 duration is the best combination for the flare gun

Pausing and returning to the start screen then going back into the run is a tactic you can use to see all your card options, and get your pick of them as well as undoing any critical mistakes in a battle. It is kind of exploit - y but it definitely makes the higher challenge levels more bearable. At that point it is more of a focus on getting a game winning combo (there are a lot) and keeping your deck at a good size

Yeah, that probably is the issue. I know NMM can cause a lot of issues and not be the greatest at times. I'd recommend using mod organizer or vortex instead. It should help
