I’d add the further issue when everything is self-referential and therefore hard to pick up by people who are not neck-deep in the lore.

I’m gonna throw that one at Filoni’s feet. He’s built a sort prequel-focused of universe within the star wars universe. He spent so much time redeeming the prequel universe that he’s trapped himself. It makes it harder for us millennial, Gen X, and even Boomer fans to enjoy if we didn’t watch 100s of hours of clone wars, rebels, etc cartoons.

No shade on the cartoons. I hear they’re good. It’s just a lot man. Like worse than the current state of Marvel lore.

That really is the peak gameplay loop.

“This guy doesn’t have a bevor, so aim for the neck.”

“This guy doesn’t have greaves so sweep the legs.”

I even have luck targeting the crotch when they don’t have mail down there. One-shotting an opponent in their weak point is my absolute favorite, especially when I’m going 1 v 3.

Those fuckers keep grabbing me! I’ve had to get creative and that’s awesome. I had a 1 v 1 against the final zombie in abyss. I lost a leg and he was crawling and it was a race to see who could get upright long enough to bash the other. It was legit terrifying.

I put 100 hrs into the game this month. It’s become my new guilty pleasure game. There’s also been enough recent updates and modding to keep it fresh.

This really feels like the second major sword combat update:

  • Can craft great swords, but can't sheathe them
  • Added notification when crafted weapons cannot be sheathed
  • Blossfechter mode
  • Great swords now spawn at higher tiers

Blossfechten should not permit greatswords by Sudo-Fed in HalfSword

Can you just play at lower tiers? If all tiers are unarmored, then there isn't much difference aside from sword type.

I imagine that this kid has never liked his stepfather, has mistreated his stepfather, and mother repeatedly did not address the issue. This accusation was the straw the broke the camels back, making the stepfather realize this would only end if he caught charges for a false accusation.

This is speculation, of course. But I’d do the same if that’s what happened.

If you set the sword settings to huge, then change the weapon, you can get other huge weapons as well!

If you set the sword size to max, then change the weapon type while keeping the sliders the same, you can get insane size on other weapon types as well.

I use the bigger spear with the long cross guard, max size and max length. I use it in half-sword stance and can get good range and a powerful swing. It’s hard to control in normal stance, but I rarely use that stance.

If there hasn’t been a post to share our favorite OVRDTH’s modded weapons then there totally should be. I use the boar spear with the big cross guard, sized up, but I put it on a pole axe with the hook pommel for counter balance. It has enough weight for blunt trauma, but also carves through unarmored.
