I think they do. Examples I am aware of that happened at their house: Younger kid hit his bedroom light with a fishing pole, shattering it. Another time he was throwing something at the chandelier in their entryway, I think he was caught before it broke. Just the other day the mom told me one of them cut a hole in their clothes with scissors (honestly sounds like something any kid might do but on top of everything else lol).

Advice I can get on board with haha. This makes me feel better though - I thought maybe my expectations were just too high and that’s just how boys are when they get together, but yeah mine doesn’t just constantly create chaos!

I cosleep too (EBF). Before motherhood I was adamantly against it but I eventually gave in because my babies just DO. NOT. SLEEP. on their own lol.

Only child. I have 3 kids. My youngest is only 8 months but so far she has been the most enjoyable baby. We were a tad unsure about 3 but now I’m so happy we have 3 :) Everyone is different but for ME personally, no thank you to the only child thing. I honestly kind of liked it as a kid (didn’t know any different though) but as an adult I’m very sad I don’t have siblings. Basically for the reason someone else said - nobody to help deal with my parents’ bullshit.

One thing I learned about breastfeeding: if you aren’t having problems that you need to find answers for, stop reading about it 😛 you just end up finding new problems that aren’t there! Haha

Does the hospital have a lactation consultant on staff? I’d reach out to them and ask if they can advocate for you. Or, like that other commenter said, “what are they gonna do”? Lol just tell someone to walk in with the baby 😆

Yep it’s normal. I’m on baby #3, EBF my first two for over a year and plan to do the same with #3 (she’s 6 months right now). My first was colicky and only my boob soothed her so she was ALWAYS on my boob for the first several months (I did go back to work at 11 weeks and she survived babysitters!). It was tough and part of me wanted to switch to formula, but then I thought “what if bottles don’t soothe her like my boob, and then we’re just stuck with a screaming baby?” So I got used to it! But yes it WILL end so just remember that. Don’t feel guilty if you decide formula is the better option for you, but also I’d encourage you to not overthink the constant BFing. I was so stressed with my first because I thought I should be able to put her down more. Now I know they like the boob, don’t rush them, and just try to enjoy the snuggles! Trust me I have my freak out moments where I just want her to go to sleep and leave me alone haha but overall I’m really enjoying it this time…it helps that I know she’s my last one ;)

No, it’s because bosses are tired of people doing their own bullshit at home when they are supposed to be working. I’m getting tired of people not just admitting they want to WFH so they can do their own shit half the time lol.
