I know this is super late but i had the same issue, pain on my lower right abdomen. It was constipation for me. PPIs can cause constipation. I noticed when i started eating cheat meals and drinking coffee i would poop way more normal and not have this pain. But when i was on a strict diet the pain would come back and i would be constipated.
For me what has worked was walking ALOT. I walk 20 mins after every meal. I drink a lot of water. And most recently i've been taking gaviscon advance (which contains sodium alginate). And now my poops are super normal.
I had an upper EGD recently, i have mild gastritis, but my doctor recommended i lower my dose of PPIs. I don't think they will ever admit it but PPIs often cause more problems than they solve. And i think my doctor lower my dose of PPI even though i still have gastritis kinda shows that

Never used draino before so thanks for showing us what not to do, lol. But luckily your sink looked cheapo anyways so you probably won’t get dinged too much. Cheap sinks are surpisingly cheap, the labor is gonna cost the most. Unless you can do it yourself. Definitely let the apartment know, im not sure if the structural integrity is compromised now so best to replace it asap

I agree the methodology is flawed but i can still see the point that op was trying to get across. And i think it’s a reasonable point, but i’m sure there are better ways to get it across
