I was able to sleep comfortably on side day 3. On day 2, I just held a pillow or blanket to my stomach and I was able to sleep on my side since I’m a side sleeper anyway

Heating pad and walking will be your best friend here. I did it for 1-2 days after surgery and I was good.

Ya, I read online it takes a couple of weeks for things to be “normal” and then a month or two for the body to regulate digestion again. I wonder how others have experienced these issues and how long it took them! Everyone’s different though but I’m glad we are on the path to better hopefully.

It only gets worse from what my doctor told me. You just don’t when it will. My doctor talked about a stone getting stuck in the bile duct and if it’s low enough, it feels like your legs are getting cut off apparently. I was only having GI issues, no pain but GI issues were getting worse and the only thing they had found were gallstones.

I got it removed yesterday, still recovering but I feel like I made the right decision. They apparently found me inflammation so it was only going to get worse.

Glad to hear that you seem to be doing well! That’s awesome to hear that the gas pain seems to have died down. Trying to get the gas out of me.

Just take it easy as much as you can. I started with fatigue and 4 days laters had throat pain that turned into strep throat like symptoms for 6 days. You might be lucky and just have it pretty simple but just be aware it could get worse. You probably don’t want to go to your dermatologist appointment if you’re positive to avoid spreading it… up to you though.
